He just told you he is CSO of the State. Peter Obi is not just ordinary person....he is man of the people, that commands followers . For adequate security protocol, it's not a bad thing to inform the Governor of that state for his own safety.

I'm sorry to break your heart with this information but Buhari wasn't from the only tribe out of 340 tribes in Nigeria that always hate everyone and forment trouble everywhere they reside. Buhari people could be dangerous in some ways but generally they embrace dialogue and build bridges unlike a tribe that always destroy bridges. Alot of you guys aren't smart at all and these useless politicians know it! How can you believe that the governor made that statement for security reasons? I'm from Edo State and my state is seen as the headquarters of obidients, but the FG is sending the governor to cancel that narrative!

The same Peter Obi arrested Nasir El Rufai in Anambra for not notifying him before entering Anambra State when he was a governor. Though he has been forgiven because of the coalition, it is on record that he did same.

Do you know of any high-profile politician who has gone there without informing the governor? I really don't know why we do this, particularly low brand of politics in this country. It is a norm here that he should inform the governor and one can see some logical reasons for this. Is it one big task to simply inform the governor and then go about your lawful business?
