That's not true. That you don't know the road to a place does not mean that the place does not exist. The forex and crypto you suggested are disguised gambling. Bet9ja is even better than them.
so you also don't know road too? you would have corrected me by mentioning a business that one can start up with 1.5million naira.
you would have done this forum a great service by doing that instead you resorted to attacking me.
i trade and make money from it. just tell me that you don't know how to trade so that I can teach you.
its how you trade currency that will determine whether you are gambling or you are actually trading.
you are not wrong if you say its gambling, that's if you are trading wrongly.
They tell you to put $10 so you can make $1000 in 6 months. no be juju be that? the least amount of money you should put to make a good sum is $200 - $300 and you should be making about $50 - $100 a month if market moves .The best traders make 50% of capital a month and you want to do better than them? if you want to make at least $1000 a month you should have at least $5000 to $10,000 so that you can sleep well at night. Trading is 90 percent analysis (fundamental and technical), risk management and 10 percent execution. so if you know any good business todo with 1.5 million naira oya tell us

But you know that you were talking theory. I practice what you said, and I know that it is not what you would suggest a newbie to do. You have to take your time to learn first. Creating a website is not something you learn in one day. To run a Facebook ad is not a day thing. Then writing copy, creating a hot product, and the many processes that go with what you just said in five minutes do not work like that.
What you said is good, but I don't think you are doing it. You only read about it.
If only you knew who is behind this account. Bragging is not the goal. But only if you knew. (Which is why I still have some regard for Nairaland, coz I can always protect my identity)

A LOT of "make money with infoproducts" are out there. So I can understand your intention.

But whether I know what I'm saying or not, you totally missed the part where I said this: All this is assuming you know even just a little bit of copywriting and about all that I mentioned above. If you don't know anything about it, either go and learn, or find someone to create the digital product, write your sales letter and run the ads for you.

So if I said that, then maybe... just MAYBE... I know what I'm doing brother.

First I did not attack you. I only counter what you said. Second, I did not make any suggestion because it was a random question. I need to know somethings about his abilities, and time available to him before I can make effective suggestions. There are lots of businesses out there.
Then on fx, well am not a novice. I know of certain candle stick analysis, volitality index and others. But any biz with a possibility of gain or lost is pure uncertainty. The common name is gambling and that is where fx belong. It does not mean that one cannot make money out of it and it is not something you will recommend to a civil servant looking for more income.

Well I don't know you and you don't know me either. But what I do know is that the business of finding "hot info product" is no longer in vogue. My account at Selar. Co is now dormant.
What we do now that bring the dollars now is content writing and content creation. I have 5 article to deliver this night and that is about 50usd. No one is talking of hot info product again.

Haha you are right. I come a family of civil servants and I had to fight and become a black sheep to tear myself out of the dogma. As for fx that's why we have stop loss The market makers know that most traders find it difficult to use stop loss. Treat fx as a business and you will know peace

If you sample 100 Nigerians and give them 10M each to start a business, 9 of them will come and ask this question and when they finally get something they think is the answer, the business will fold up by the 6th month.

We've never been a people that creates wealth and opportunities. The South Easterners are only good with trade. (Buying and reselling). And that is why most of their businesses are one man business, mostly husband and wife.

Only less than 5 percent of Nigerians know how to set up real business that creates wealth.
This is the most useless comment in this thread

Here's what my buddy AI generated:

Enjoy

🔥 Real talk, ₦1.5M might not feel like a lot in this 2025 Naija economy, but if you play it smart and stay consistent, it can absolutely build a profitable business. The trick? Pick a demand-driven business, go lean with setup, and focus on cash flow, not just vibes.

Here are 10 hot business ideas you can launch with ₦1.5M or less in Nigeria right now — no cap:

---

1. POS (Agent Banking) + Airtime/Data Reselling

💡 Why? People need to withdraw/cash-in every day, especially in underbanked areas.

Start with a strong location (busy junction, market).

Buy a POS machine (₦20K–₦50K or free from providers like Moniepoint, Opay).

Add VTU recharge (airtime/data) & bill payments = extra cashflow.

Profit Potential: ₦5K–₦15K daily if location is good.

---

2. Mini-Importation + WhatsApp/Instagram Sales

💡 Why? Dollar is scary, but some items still offer crazy margins.

Import hot items: smartwatches, phone accessories, skincare kits, hair trimmers.

Source from Alibaba or 1688 + use a trusted agent.

Sell via WhatsApp status, Facebook Marketplace, Instagram.

Use UGC (user-generated content) for marketing.

Profit Potential: ₦100K–₦300K monthly if consistent.

---

3. Mushroom Farming (Small-Scale Indoor Setup)

💡 Why? Cheap to start. High demand. Low overhead.

Focus on oyster mushrooms.

Setup can be done in a small, cool room or shaded tent.

Sell to local restaurants, markets, or health-conscious individuals.

Profit Potential: ₦50K–₦150K per month with scaling room.

---

4. Phone Accessories Business (Offline + Online)

💡 Why? Nigerians will always upgrade phones or lose chargers 😅

Sell power banks, fast chargers, earphones, cables, etc.

Source from Lagos (Computer Village) or China.

Open a small kiosk or hawk with style around parks/universities.

Push online using TikTok + IG reels.

Profit Potential: 30%–100% markup on items.

---

5. Small Chop + Smoothie Bar (Combo Setup)

💡 Why? Food is king. Always will be.

Focus on high-traffic area: motor parks, school gates, markets.

Menu: Puff-puff, spring rolls, samosas, smoothies, parfaits.

Partner with delivery guys for bulk orders.

Smart packaging = brand appeal.

Profit Potential: ₦5K–₦20K daily profit.

---

6. Laundry & Dry Cleaning Business

💡 Why? Middle-class folks hate washing 😭

Set up in an estate or residential area.

Invest in a good washing machine, generator, iron.

Offer pick-up/drop-off services to stand out.

Use loyalty cards or referral rewards.

Profit Potential: ₦80K–₦200K monthly.

---

7. Used/Thrift Clothing (Okrika)

💡 Why? Second-hand fashion is booming again, even among Gen Z.

Source quality first-grade bales (children's wear, ladies' tops).

Sell via Instagram Live, WhatsApp status, or local market.

Keep aesthetic sharp = higher pricing.

Profit Potential: ₦50K–₦300K/month depending on hustle.

---

8. Mobile Car Wash (Waterless or Home-Service)

💡 Why? Car owners love convenience.

Invest in portable car wash equipment & quality cleaning agents.

Offer home/office service; no need for a fixed location.

Target Uber/Bolt drivers, offices, estates.

Add add-ons: engine wash, polishing, etc.

Profit Potential: ₦4K–₦15K per day with one staff.

---

9. Digital Services Reselling / Mini-Agency

💡 Why? Everyone wants to “blow” online but don’t know how.

Niche into graphic design, Canva templates, ghostwriting, email copywriting, or social media content.

Outsource the work on Fiverr/Upwork if needed.

Sell to small biz owners, students, hustlers.

Bundle your services = higher ticket.

Profit Potential: ₦50K–₦300K monthly.

---

10. Local Foodstuff Packaging & Delivery

💡 Why? Diaspora Nigerians and busy city folks need this.

Package crayfish, garri, ogbono, egusi, palm oil in neat branded packs.

Sell on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook.

Target working-class folks & diaspora customers.

Partner with dispatch riders or delivery services.

Profit Potential: ₦50K–₦200K monthly with growth potential.

---

Bonus Tip 🧠:

Whatever biz you pick, invest ₦100K–₦200K in marketing (e.g.:

Facebook/IG ads,

branded packaging,

influencer collabs,

video content creation).

Let the world know what you do. Visibility = cashflow.

Where do you normally get gigs that pay up to this amount for an article.

Hmmm Upwork and Fiverr are competitive and oversaturated. I don't think that new writers survive there. But there are many sites that display hundreds of writing jobs with prices attached to them. All that we need to do is to choose the ones we can do at any time and do it well. If the owner is satisfied, they pay you. The thing is that before they accept a writer, you will pass an obj English test, an essay writing test. It is not what I will post here because even if I post, you can not scale through without proper guidance and direction. You can send me mail to me if you need more info.

Crayfish, you meant to type.
I know some women in oron town in Akwa Ibom State (I'm partly from there) where some of the best and affordable crayfish in West Africa originate from. Buy and sell it in the north or west and you'll have steady customers and good profit returns. Same with palm oil from Akwa Ibom.
If I have to connect you to those certified local dealers, you would have to do the negotiations with them on transportation or logistics, storage and drying, and some other things.
Can you do me a favour and connect me please. I really need help. I’ll wait for your reply.
