So Cameroon is richer than Nigeria, Terrible, very terrible.
They are busy online defending it, and if someone else say something about it abroad they will gether left and right and center and start writing columns both on print and on social media, tagging the person unpatriotic when they should take that as a motivation. There's absolutely nothing unpatriotic about a fact about one's nation. Imagine Liberia and Benin richer than Nigeria, we're not even up to $1k per Capita
That's per Capita GDP. Cameroon , Liberia and Benin have populations that are not up to even one eighth of ours . That's why they have higher per Capita GDP.

But even then they are poor. Very poor. I've seen videos of Liberia and Cameroonian and Benin cities. They look like Nigerian ones.

If we had twenty million people we would have a high per Capita GDP and we will be there deceiving ourselves

But even then, we are all poor nations because we are resource dependent

Nigeria never disappoints in this kind of lists but i'm surprised to see india on that list
India is only on that list because of her population.
If Nigeria were the size and population of Ghana we won't be there and sincerely if we have good government over the years we shouldn't be on that list.
The north lack of birth control brought us here.
This is not tinubu fault alone all government from Obasanjo till now did nothing to improve the lives of Nigeria.

Tell me one productive measure taken by any government to improve our gdp.

No European nation on that list and almost everything they produce are sourced from Africa.

Africa is backwards

And lastly don't trust every information IMF dish out. White men are black men problem until we realize this Africa is going no where

Nigeria is actually poorer than they know. People are really going through a lot, just that Nigerians always manage and cope with whatever situation they find themselves.

Somebody should educate Tilimbu that revenue can be generated easily with smart ideas without taxing the hell out of already poor masses

But at the end of the day, Kenya is still poor.

They even rely a lot on loans.

I did not say apc is better. We got the stuff that could make us better than kenya
we have resources but we are still like 4 times poorer than Kenya.. that's the fact on ground. It's like saying if not that Mike Tyson was drunk on the night before the fight with Busta Douglas he would have won. Well reality does not recognize what led to your failure..reality is that u failed woefully.

Liberia and Sierra Leone have far lower populations than Nigeria. That's why their per Capita appears higher.

They are just as broke as we are.

How did we allow ebilokan to destroy our country by making his expired northerner Buhari president to replace his fellow southerner Jonathan?

Will we let him get away with this nonsense again in 2027 huh

thisweekng:
The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Chief Olawale Edun has said the last time Nigeria’s economy looked stable was about a decade ago.

He made this statement during his maiden press conference as Minister of Finance where he outlined President Bola Tinubu’s vision, agenda and strategy for the economy.

He said, “I think as we all know, we are not where we should be. The economy is barely growing above the rate of population growth.

“But it was not always so, and I think in trying to look at the way forward, if we now have a situation of slow growth, double-digit inflation, weak/depreciating exchange rate, as well as security concerns that are resulting in an economy that is not growing and not taking Nigerians out of poverty.

“If we think back to the last time when the economy was stable- when it was growing, when inflation was low, and the interest rate was affordable, that period was about a decade ago. Growth was about 6% in 2013 and 2014.”

I don't see the need for back n forths when not necessary. U quoted a post where I rebuffed an argument that says Nigeria is better than Kenya . But is that the reality on ground? Forget what we have and what led to it..fact on ground is that the argument is baseless and false.

Well to ur last sentence I think we should aspire to be even 13th talk more of being 41st on that list. Given how we celebrate small irrelevant wins by this current govt. Moving to 13th will bring alot of orgasm to some Nigerians
