Honestly, I experience that as well.
If for any reason I don’t have my bath before evening, I feel feverish.

You have to get a new hypothalamus. This gland regulates your body temperature, so if you feel feverish when you don't bath a day, then you hypothalamus is malfunction. Go for a thorough check up before it's too late.

Maybe if youre indoor for a whole day without much physical exertion that could cause perspiration? Maybe if you're in an arid region with just enough water to drink for the day?

Like I'm surprised that many people seem to be cool with not bathing in a day.

Fever or no fever.... I can't pass a day without bathing. Unpossible

I won't call it that as its not a compulsive disorder as it were. It's simply a habitual reflex action of a mind that has been trained to such a degree that what was once a voluntary action becomes involuntary such that if it's not adhered to. It sends reactions to the body to make it stick to that routine. For me it's brushing. If I forget to wash my tongue. My brain sends a message of incompleteNess
