The man is lucky to be alive. He would have been burnt alive if it is in Naija. And the victim was robbed of 9000gc and she is claiming 20,000gc. She is also a thief! |

tommy589:It is a lie! Ghanaians have never been known for armed robbery in Nigeria. If you say petty thieves in the market or house-help stealing from their bosses at home, I can agree. Their ladies were known more for prostitution. Armed robbery has been the specialty of Nigerians from day one. There was no armed in Ghana until Nigerians brought the menace into the country! |

Kalulu44:Oh you call it tribal nonsense when it is your turn, they also do the same thing. Regardless check the numbers of crimes committed by Nigerians abroad and check the region that commits the most. Most of the problems Nigerians faces abroad are caused by them because the people don't know the difference, all of us are Nigerians. |

It's not adding up. They stole 20 000 and were caught trying to flee and recovered money is now 9 000. What happened to 11 000? Did Ghana people take some? |

goslowgoslow:They don't seem to get it. Yes,crime is universal but what is particular about them is their attempt to defend and rationalise criminality of their kinfolk Now that that isn't working, they have jumped on the woke wagon of labelling anyone who sees a pattern as being a tribalist . It's so sickening and with this attitude nothing can be done to have them self reflect and reform . |

balisa1:Ghanians were never involved in armed robbery. They were primarily working as teachers (and the very best at it), house maids , bakers (remember Ghana bread and butter) as well as very good shoe cobblers. They never involved in crime outside prostitution. |

DomPerignon:This your post has some misrepresentation of facts. It is true that Ghana evicted foreigners in 1969, but it was not targeted at Nigerians, although Yoruba people were the most affected and they were virtually 95% of Nigerians in Ghana at that time. The first president of Ghana (Nkrumah) had made policies that granted automatic citizenship to everybody living in Ghana at the independence day of Macrh6, 1957. This attracted many more family members and relatives to join those foreigners who had been living in country. But another govt felt the number of foreigners in the country was too many and were indirectly affecting the economy, hence the decision to evict them. The Yoruba were known for being hard-working, industrious and were present in all sectors as farmers, traders, transporters, teachers in schools, nurses, doctors, public servants in ministries etc. For instance, the Mokola market in Accra was named by/after the Yoruba traders. |
