Arsenal kicked off their pre-season with a 1-0 win over Italian Giants AC milan. The match which was played under extreme heat conditions in Singapore had both teams fielding most of their strongest players. After a cagey first half, Bukayo Saka got on the end of a beautiful cross from Kiwior to give Arsenal the lead. Captain Odegaard had the chance to out Arsenal 2 goals up but wasted too much time before taking his shot. Man of the match was Milan goalkeeper Terranciano who made several amazing saves to keep the score line respectable. New signing Martin Zubimendi made his debut in the second half while there was no sign of Noni Madueke. Madueke is expected to make his debut in the next few days as he joins up with the rest of the team in the far east.
