There are lots of strange people on this nairaland sha...they have no help to render and find it easily to disrespect others. What do u mean 10yrs experience u should not still be searching for jobare u a baby may life not happen to us sometimes pause before u type out that response u have in ur head it'd save u alot. And the English teachers😒na under typo errors una dey always flex muscles. Let's do better please people are going through alot.

I was working for a laundry and dry cleaning company here in Enugu as a marketer.

Before that, I lost my job in a financial institution and had to start afresh earning just 10k as a marketer.

But that job taught me a lot. The experience I got working there helped me start my own laundry business later.

Now, the story behind this photo…

One day, while in a bus going to market the company, I lost the office SUG phone. I reported it to the admin when I got back. She carried the matter to oga. He split my salary into 3 parts and took two. That month, I received ₦3,333.

The following month, it rained one Monday and I came late to the office. Unfortunately, oga was around. This same oga had a habit of slapping staff. That day, he tried to slap me. I told him, “Slapping me is not in my job description. If I’ve done something wrong, discipline me properly.”

He told me to remove the office uniform and leave his office.

I removed it only singlet remained.

One of the staff came to me, gave me a customer’s polo, and said he’d come collect it later in my area so I wouldn’t go home shirtless. That month again, no salary.

Eventually, I used everything I learnt from that job to start my own.

Here’s the lesson:

The small salary you’re collecting now is not the end of your story. Sometimes, it’s teaching you the exact thing you’ll use to build your empire.

Today, I eat in the same restaurant with that same oga. I’ve even seen him in church. I have forgiven him.

That company? All their Enugu branches are now shut down. Not because of me ooo reason best known to them.
But me? I run mine now

🔹I have 4 full-time staff
🔹Over 100 keke riders under my management
🔹3 Siennas
🔹2 Dynas And other businesses.

If you’re reading this and you’re in a rough place in life And maybe going through similarly challenges now.
Tomorrow is will be better than yesterday.

That salary you’re receiving today won’t be your end.

Give it 10 years. You’ll look back and say, “God, na me be this.”

Don’t grudge, that job that looks so low is preparing you for something Bigger.
You can create your own and be bigger than your present situation.

I just want to cheer you up.
Trust me you’ll be fine.
Just be consistent, hardworking, creative and ambitious. Will your life change yes.
If it can happen to me it can happen to anyone.

Look, I know how tough it can be when things don’t go as planned—especially with money or business. But don’t beat yourself up. Everyone who has ever succeeded has had their fair share of losses. What matters is what you do next. Learn from it, cut your losses, and refocus on the bigger picture. Slow progress is still progress. You’ve got this!
