A leading Socio-political group in Ogun State, the Visionaries, has inaugurated  its State Executive in Abeokuta, the state capital in preparation for the group to work towards gathering grassroots support for Senator Solomon Adeola Yayi's 2027 gubernatorial aspiration.

Inaugurating the 26-member executives, the former Convener of the Visionaries and now Director General, Hon. Leye Odunjo, implored the executives to be dedicated and committed to the group's missions and visions to achieve greater growth and development for the state in all spheres. 

Odunjo explained that the inauguration signified a transition and renewed focus for the Visionaries' missions and goals.


He noted that the group focused on supporting Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola's emergence as Ogun's gubernatorial candidate in 2027 while also working on the welfare of the people. 


Odunjo stated that the group comprises members from various backgrounds, including politicians, technocrats, and students, united by the principles of fairness, justice, and equity.



The group aims to contribute to the state's development politically and socially. Odunjo emphasized the importance of leadership with vision, accountability, and empathy, stating that true leadership is defined by a commitment to service and positive change.

Odunjo called on members across the state to support the group's goals and aspirations, emphasizing transparency and cooperation in navigating towards 2027.
