PDP Finally Zones 2027 Presidential Ticket to the South. Barely two years to the 2027 general election, and few weeks after the Former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, announced his resignation from PDP, the party has finally made up its mind to zone its Presidential ticket to the South. Speaking to Daily Independence on Tuesday, the Deputy National Youth Leader, Timothy Osadolor, disclosed that the party has opened its Presidential ticket to all eligible Southerners when he was asked where the party would zone its Presidential ticket. “The PDP has opened the Presidential ticket to all eligible Southerners. We are zoning to the South.” The PDP would hold its Caucus, Board of Trustees (BoT) and National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting today and tomorrow to address issues bedeviling the party and ratify Congresses held previously. 1 Like 1 Share

They should just micro-zone it to Jada LGA in Adamawa State in North East or Obio-Akpor LGA of Rivers State in South South. PaChukwudi44:Yes nah. He might even work for Tinubu against himself as long as Tinubu wins while he rubbishes the ticket. The thing is that Wike doesn't know how to contest against Tinubu based on the ministerial appointment if not, he would have been brutal about getting the PDP ticket unopposed ahead of 2027. |

Amumaigwe:PDP ticket is going to Makinde and he won't poll up to 500k votes. Wike will distance himself from contesting against Tinubu. Makinde himself won't be a serious contender because he can't work against Tinubu too. So PDP now is more a less an offshoot of Tinubu foot mat. 1 Like 1 Share |
