Kingosytex:The people doing this are enemies of the Igbo nation because this street was renamed 7 years ago in 2018 during the regime of Willie Obiano and his government explained why they did it. Why is it been raised now except to cause fight amongst Igbos? https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-east/273513-why-we-renamed-abakaliki-street-in-awka-official.html?tztc=1 |

gidgiddy:I'm not even talking about the street names or whatever. I'm talking about how the Anambrarians treat the Ebonyians. An Ebonyian living in Anambra has to endure a lot of mockery. Just go to Facebook, the hate is everywhere. |

Nigerians always forming Unity but deep down they are very divided along many lines. Many Ethnic Jingoists amongst them all. Ethnic Jingoists and Ethnic Jingoism is as worse as any malady affecting the Nation yet all of them do it. A real shame though in some cases you need to draw a line but fanning the fire of Ethnic Jingoism is very bad. |

Kosiso12:Abakaliki to club street. Anybody who hears club street will only think of Ashawo zone. So it is even from flying pan to fire if they feel that Abakaliki street denotes classless people according to them. |

EvilMerodack:The problem here is I didn't quote u. The people I quoted know why I said what I said cos it was in response to there biased comment. So if u want to respond to my comment get the context of my initial response and who I was responding to so u don't seem totally off in ur response. Cheers |

This mumu Ebonyi business mogul shouldn't start a war he can't win. Because of small money he picked, he wants to challenge Anambra that has many influential business moguls bigger than his generation. The number of Ebonyi residents in Anambra is more than the number of Anambra residents in Ebonyi. Hardly will you see an Anambra indigene residing in Ebonyi but come to Anambra you will see them (Ebonyi) in their numbers engaged in street hawking, nanny, gateman and other menial jobs including low budget olosho. The Abakiliki street we are talking about is known for prostitution mostly carried out by Ebonyi, Imo and calabar girls. Comparing Anambra to Ebonyi be like comparing Apple to Tecno or Benz to Toyota |

Tinubumustgo:You Igbos hate one another so much that you can't even bear to see streets named after other Igbo communities that are not your own |

Hotice085:The person you are quoting isn't Igbo but someone well known to pretend to be Igbo so as to make comments will cause disunity This issue of street renaming was from far back as 2018. But see how mischief makers have repackaged a 7 old event to try and disunite Igbos today https://www.premiumtimesng.com/regional/ssouth-east/273513-why-we-renamed-abakaliki-street-in-awka-official.html?tztc=1 |

If such deep hatred exists between two states of so-called Biafra, imagine what will happen when they finally become a sovereign nation. I keep repeating that the noise around marginalization is nothing but a plot orchestrated by an elite who feel totally exempt from the system and whose only way to remain relevant is to stir up war to promote their selfish interests. It is clear that there is no united Igbo front, similar to what is happening in the north; they only pretended to be one north during elections and what follows is fight and hatred against each other, the Hausa against the Fulani, etc |

Kingosytex:Imagine this intra-tribalism. Soon all their tentacles will be totally abolished If not madness why will they be allowed to take a political position out of east....people that can't love their self wanted to be loved by another |

Hear wetin one of the Anambra based brethren of " ShukwuDi Street " Ajeromi Street owners is saying about their own government renaming a street : " when people hear Abakaliki Street , they would probably see the street AS OCCUPIED BY CLASSLESS INDIVIDUALS." ! A name of a whole state capital considered classless by Anambra residents.! I guess Ebubedike Street glamourise any Lagos street . |

gidgiddy:So the Ebonyi business man does not know what he is saying? Even at that, why was the street renamed? It is very bad of the Anambra government to see a street called Abakaliki and choose to call it club road, very very bad |

Hotice085:Ebonyi businessman who is fighting about what happened 7 years ago today? Something that the reason has long been explained and everyone moved on? The guy is just out to cause fight between brothers. There are many like him on social media using ridiculous reasons to cause disunity in the Igbo nation |
