This noodles dominates the market in Anambra State. I don't know why they don't have a market share in Lagos.

the noodles is in the market everywhere in the SW. Stop trying to demarket it because it's produced in Anambra state. The noodles is very tasty and rich because it contains vegetables like carrots. Go and eat it and you'll forever hate indomie that is tasteless unless you add additional spices

That is to tell you that Christians, Jews and others only hate Islam and anyone calling to Islam or showcasing Islamic values. But they don't hate money coming from Islam and Islamic people.
The sign Halal is just a mark to appeal to Muslims that a particular product is produced in a safe, clean and processes that are aligned with Islamic sharia. Islam place great values on what Muslim put in their mouth, and therefore there are commandments and regulations to this in the Quran and practise of Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him.
So to ensure that a particular food producing firm take share of the market which has large Muslim customers, they inscribed halal on their product.

To all of you calling Muslims different names, I just laughed at you. If Muslim decide to boycott any product globally, the firm will die.

I love tummy-tummy noodles a lot, they have dried spices like carrot and vegetables inside the pack and their noodles isn't as hard as indomie. This defamation has to be followed with litigation cos Ibos know how to discredit their own so well

It means it's legally lawful and safe for human consumption.
It's acceptable globally and not rejected in any religion,race,etc

Indomie is still the best noodles to me too. But sometimes I.wonder, is it because it was the first in the country and I ate only it for years before Maggie noodles came along.. I wonder if maybe my taste buds got so used to it that I don't like any other noodles as much as it.

It is an Arabic word which means permissible that is it safe to consume for Muslim who don't eat some fobidable foods like pork

Tummy tummy isnt new. They are close to 20yrs in the market.

It's quite popular in the South East and parts of South South.

I don’t know the brand and I doubt I’ll buy a pack with such a name.

It's very good, it has vegetables in it, but they no longer sell it at my place and I'm tired of eating indomie.

Tummy Tummy is very nice. I prefer the noodles to Indomie.

[b]This is nothing like Erisco's case. [/b]It's a baseless defamation unlike Erisco which was an individual/branding error with the customer having proof of purchase.

If you are a product marketer...any product..you will understand product competition can be healthy and also very dirty.

There are paid reviewers for positive reviews and some can be so dirty to pay reviewers for malicious, deliberate falsehood on competing products (this is illegal, but it happens)!

So, if you are a marketer, you will have a open mind on Eriscos case that it can actually be a sponsored campaign against that brand.

Just like this case, brand competition can be dirty and can come in various forms

It is not a reversed marketing but demarketing someone's brand.
In June 2021, one crunchy biscuit was labeled a killer product from South Africa that was smuggled into Nigeria. Mid- last year, one DEW WATER was also demarketed, all on social media, Whatsapp to be precise.
I think drastic actions should be taken against people who derive joy in destroying competitors product or for whatever reason.
