I did receive the background check to be honest, and that is why I am still perplexed as to why it is taking forever to progress or at least send a rejection mail.
I hate to be left hanging and this has been on for about 10 months now.
At least they should respect us enough to let us know if there is a hiring freeze

Do you have any update on the Chevron Interview, especially for the non professional positions advertised last year. Your regular updates are very good, but seems to have been a while now since you posted on the Chevron Recruitment.

There is no need for “tracking”. people talk and share .if you are in the right spaces. facilities engineers are the most recent I can confirm and got theirs since the 17th

Lol people seem to have moved on. It seems the recruitment was placed on some sort of pause.

Some positions are still being interviewed for. The recruitment has been slow no doubt but not yet concluded. This is about two weeks now since associate operators and operators did their interview. No information on next stage for now.

I think the last set of interviews are ongoing this week
Reliability specialist and rotating equipment specialist. Meaning all interviews concerning chevron ends this week. Which makes me believe that Background mail for various positions can start coming in from next week or upper. I guess they paused the engineers recruitment(August batch last year) to enable these operator recruitment (October batch last year) catch up. I think the idea is everyone will resume same time which I strongly believe will happen October/ November this year

Well I think you have a point but there's really no info even from those within on what's truly happening. Pausing a recruitment to catch up may not be the reason. Also, if resumption is likely Oct/Nov (2 months from now) then some peeps should be getting medical invite/offer letter to allow ample time for them to resign before resuming...my thoughts

No matter how slow it is, there's some motion. Its best to just man up, take this L and focus on the next one in the case you haven't been called yet. Less depressing that way.

The recruitment has been very slow. No update for operators that did interview about a month ago.

Have any one did background check for any of the experience hire role

Recruitment appears to be progressing with new medicals and conflict of information forms being sent through. Recruitment should wrap up soon
