They are protesting because Zelensky approved a new law that cripples their version of EFCC and ICPC from their Independence.

The New law makes Ukraine at par with Nigeria, where the president is the one that appoints EFCC and ICPC chair.
How can they operate INDEPENDENTLY, when they are at the whims of the president and his cronies.

We are used to our corruption here, that's probably why you don’t see any wrong in it.

That is a working democracy that is about to be brought to its kneels.

Why did they amend the law from Independent leadership, with parliamentary oversight, to a leadership that is hand-picked by the president?
Was the status quo not favouring some people...what is Zelensky hiding that he now wants to have direct control over their Anti-corruption unit?
