After person don suffer to graduate, he'll now pay such a huge sum to collect the certificate whilst still unemployed. Nigeria's future is very bleak!

I collected my own certificate with the sum of 28K, ten years after I graduated. Na them even send am through courier to our office address. Na who dem wan whyne?

You didn't talk about getting transcript from EKSU which is another headache. I paid for transcript since last year September, I have not gotten it till now.

I told them to forward it to an official email of one higher institution after payment to school account, I was told is not possible that I should pay another money to DHL to come and collect it from School. Till now , have not received it.

The 125k may include the penalty for not collecting it on time , the yearly cost for keeping it safe and other sundry charges .

Most states university in Nigeria have placed a penalty for not collecting your certificate on time . If you failed to collect your certificate after 10 years be sure that you be required to pay close to that amount or even more.

So, find out first why they're charging that amount before castigating the university.

If you have sense at all,you should know that the responsibility for providing proof lies with the person that made the claim.
