The ultimate responsibility rests with the president. The governors chose not to remove subsidies for LPG and electricity. It is the federal government that floated the Naira, not the governors.

FG is the only problem we have in Nigeria. Not the governors, senators, HOR or state assembly members

Goes to Benue and shifts responsibility on security to the governor. Removes subsidy, devalues the currency, and then shifts responsibility to the governors. Rinse and repeat.

The governor is the chief security officer of the state. The governor is collecting security votes.
So it is wrong to ask him to do what he is responsible for??

Lagos state security fund is equiping the state police and military with the same money. What has the Benue state governor done with the money given to him?

The governors themselves are confirming that they have more money than they ever received, the Senate and HoR also. So they governors should not be held accountable for the money given to them.
Is this how you Obidients think the country will move forward?
You expect the government to come and farm to feed you, don't you know that by law it's the state government that has land? You blame the FG for hunger when it is the state government that owns the lands by law, where do you want the FG to farm?
Some of you know nothing about governance but you won't close your mouth

The Governors are getting a great deal more money because of fuel subsidy removal. Considerably more than they were receiving as allocation under Buhari .

Which reasonable person will fault the call asking them to do more? Does charity not begin at home considering we all live in States and local Government of Nigeria? Why so keen to absolve Governors and other leaders of blame to attack the President alone?

Do other leaders, at all levels, not have to deliver leadership efficacy also with ordinary Nigerians then responsible and effectively holding them to account to do so?

What is wrong with Tinubu's efforts to massively and efficiently fund State Governors and local Government leaders, as has not been seen before, so that ordinary Nigerians like you benefit?

After the President has done that, Does he not have the right to charge States and Local Government leaders, different and independently seperate tiers of governance to the Federal Government he head , to do more?

You too should hold your Governors and local government chairmen to account better so that progress is achieved through leaders and followers playing their part meritoriously as obtains worldwide.

Issues should not be about prejudical, bigoted and blind hatred of the President to the extent of losing sight of what is most important for Nigeria and Nigerians.

Good post. Nigerians can be irritating people because of how they are consumed by emotions, sentiments , bigotry and prejudice against others.

If the President has empowered Governors and Local Government leaders to do more, as we have all seen him do, then why still hold Mr.President responsible for the failures seen at State and local Government level?

Why do Nigerians, if citizens focused on socio-economic progress above everything else, not aggresivley face the task of demanding their leaders at State and local givernment level do better, and much more, instead of attacking the President as if he leads all level or Nigerian governance?

I personally fear that Nigeria may never develop as she should because majority of Nigerians are too ignorant, bigoted and hateful to do their civic duty of getting optimal performance from leaders through the sincere effort to understand the problem and then direct the request for solutions toward the right leaders charged with finding those solutions.

If Zamfara Governor is getting five times more federal allocation than he did four years ago, then what kind of self-destructive madness would lead Zamfara folks to be cursing and attacking Tinubu daily rather than tackling their Governor?
