Top top tier show.
The show is darn so insightful about how global corporations or big companies work. Watch this show and you'd easily understand how the organisational structure, internal politics, power struggle and expansion all plays out.

Watching this show this weekend also felt a little funny after coming on twitter and see all hell let loose about the "opportunity and access" available to one depending on his family social status. The brouhaha unleashed over the weekend about a billionaire teaching the poor or less privileged on wealth creation.

Seeing it play out live on SUCCESSION, you see how the Roys' consistently fvçk_ up with costly decisions and still have the luxury to start again once more no matter how big the last failure was.
Being born into poverty and you definitely won't have such chances to keep messing up and still get doors open to you.

This is why one's media and entertainment is also as important as it is to unwind and escape from hard reality. It might be a TV show but subtly it's a hack and eye opener into the lives of the wealthy. Their lifestyle and realities are shown to you for free on TV. Invaluable exposure while being entertained.

Shiv Roy was one of my fave characters in S1, but now she's becoming an annoyance, seeing how she uses Tom Wambgams the way she likes with the manipulations. Feeling like she can toy with him just cause her family's wealthy and he's dependent on her father's graces. Too cóçky and could use some pristine humbling.

Roman Roy — pretty annoying with the jokes and all but I'm slowly liking the dude and he's prolly my fave character for this season. The resident dipshit who rarely gives a fùçk_. I enjoyed the scene where Baba chop premium slap from daddy for clowning around with his big mouth.

Connor Roy — the family's number one CLOWN. He's a running gag, but papa's money ensures he's not a complete FAILURE.

Kendall Roy — Dude still daddy's boy and still can't step outta daddy's shadow. He's trying to make a name for himself, draw his own path, but he's still gonna be daddy's BIGGEST worshipper.

Logan Roy — I can see the struggle trying to find a successor to the massive empire he's built. Trying to find who's more deserved of the great responsibility and passing the family legacy. Pretty tough bequeathing the keys to the kid with the biggest promise when they've ALL known comfort and sheltered all their lives.

In anything you do in this life, try to create something — a future — a launch pad for your kids so they don't start life handicapped from the starting line.

HBO always coming through, award winning acting from almost all involved, impeccable writing and pacing and superb storytelling. It's no wonder this show was a powerhouse when it was still airing. You could feel the quality already just by watching it and how gritty and down to earth it is.

Brooo...I remember it been part of the list of shows to see during the onset of the COVID pandemic lockdown that i randomly saw on Twitter now X back then, coped S1 and S2, casually started it, and got hooked from S1E1, some people where saying it started slowly, but not for me...

Easily one of the best written and character development arc show at the time... I mean the Emmys totally dread to see them coming 😩...They were packing them like flies, i mean, at a time, Jeremy Strong and Kieran Culkin were nominated in the lead actor in a drama cate, like do you know how crazy that is?!.

They gave us 4 banger season and left when the ovation was loudest like a real champ. easily easily one of my favourites shows ever, and absolutely no surprises that HBO cooked it...dem too sabi this series thing abeg...but e b like them relax this year o 😩😩....

With the incoming launch of the Tsunami that is the DCU, who's a top or good actress who's significantly well known amongst TV audience that can veritably play the role of our beloved №1 superheroine— Wonder Woman ??

I'd have said Adria Arjona, would have been a perfect match and facial resemblance— but she's too short. 🤧
Now I'm thinking maybe, Frida Gustavsson of VIKINGS: VALHALLA would be the perfect choice. Similar young age as Superman and Lex Luthor actors. Perfect height. Has the warrior looks and played a very similar role as Wonder Woman, has the elegance and everything.

But what other options we got?


Modified: Gunn has clarified that DC isn't casting based on specific role or movies, but by acting prowess. So the list of possible actors goes BIGGER.

Dawn was too fine, especially when she was coming out of the water, Baba nor fit remove that thought from he head.

VIKINGS was a GOATED show and could easily compare with Game of Thrones best years. It's that good and addictive.

Valhalla is a weak imitation compared to the GOAThood of VIKINGS.

The show being compared to GOT isn't really an exaggeration from the fanbase. It's gritty, mature, betrayal, and as politically intriguing and brutal power plays as Game of Thrones was.
GOT is my greatest TV show of all time as everyone knows I'm a superfan of that franchise but VIKINGS also comes very very close.

Where GOT edges it out is just the fantasy elements and grand scale in its final seasons and we all know the biggest draw— Dragons!!
Vikings also has the unpredictability and high stakes as GOT.

Vikings mistake was coming out in the strongest years of a phenomenon like GOT.
If it came out now, it will be what everyone talks about.
It's no joke the name Ragnar Lothbrok was very popular throughout Pop Culture back then alongside names like the Lannisters and Starks.

Once you get past first 5 episodes, na enjoyment galore.
