Amaechi stands a better chance tnan Obi. Why? Rotimi is more popular in the North than Peter and also commands a lot of respect there. His ostentaneous presence at late PMB's burial was a calculated one.

Furthermore, he has never displayed any tendency of religious bigotry unlike Peter who, out of desperation, was quoted to have said "this is a religious war" to a prominent pastor.
