And when demand for CNG goes up what do you think wud happen to the price. The longtime effect is what we should always think about not early gain. Same happened wuth cooking gas. how much was it when it was initially launched and how much is a kg now

That's impressive. This should have been done much earlier before mid-2024 but better than never. These CNG-fueled trucks are the low-hanging fruits the states have to activate through the Governors and Commissioners of Agriculture and NOT focus on the FG. The delivery of cheap food is domiciled in each Nigerian State and the Commissioners of Agriculture for each Nigerian State has to be held accountable for the delivery of sustainable food delivery with improved security instead of allowing their citizens to keep blaming the President. The Kaduna State Governor has been able to restore peace to the major agricultural belts if his state and other Governors must hit the ground running too do that their folks can have cheaper food and transportation with CNG-fueled haulage trucks and high-capacity buses.

I'm aware that Lagos State is constructing the BIGGEST Agric Supply Hub in Epe and the Phase 1 is due for commissioning with the objective to crash the cost of food by 50%. Kudos to Ms. Olusanya and her team for that.

Forget the poorest country sing song. India with the 4th highest GDP in the world is still classified as poorest country. The high population weighs down the productivity of such nations. A country can come out of the list even if it has moderate GDP but low population. China has high per capita because she's highly productive and the population is controlled.

What we want in Nigeria is to breed children, invite foreigners to come and extract raw materials, allow politicians to steal as much as they want and use the remaining to appease us by giving us subsidized imported goods. Anything to the contrary we resist.

Lagos State is not called the Centre of Excellence for nothing.

It's always been the flagship to other States to emulate.


If only other state governments would put on their thinking caps.


It's a shame that inspite of the increase in their individual allocations from the centre, they (other States) continue to exhibit mediocrity with little or nothing to show for the increase.


Come to the present day Lagos State and you would marvel at the rapid transformation being experienced across the mega city.


This is no magic but the foresight and template of a single individual (the Jagaban himself) to which successive administrations have keyed into effortlessly.


Other States must go back to the drawing board and formulate a blueprint for their States with a firm commitment to it, irrespective of the political party in power in their States.

Otherwise, they are just drifting around without a clear-cut destination.
