‎Barely two years to the 2027 general election, and few weeks after the Former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar, announced his resignation from PDP, the party has finally made up its mind to zone its presidential ticket to the South.
‎
‎Speaking to Daily Independent on Tuesday, the Deputy National Youth Leader, Timothy Osadolor, disclosed that the party has opened its presidential ticket to all eligible southerners when he was asked where the party would zone its presidential ticket.
‎
‎“The PDP has opened the presidential ticket to all eligible southerners. We are zoning to the South.”
‎
‎The PDP would hold its caucus, Board of Trustees (BoT) and National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting today and tomorrow to address issues bedeviling the party and ratify congresses held previously.
