Telecommunication that's reaping Nigerians should come as number one. The Discos and their outrageous electricity bills that stall economic growth, should come second.

These statisticians think we are all dumb. What did you benchmark on to get your growth rate? Or are they saying those sectors were at 0%?
Write them to complain. Once it's not negative then it's wrong. Figures of this type is it not YoY? They are telling the whole world that their brain are empty according to you.

So how do we conclude that they are not anti Tinubu? Tinubu didn't win Lagos, remember? It could be the over 580,000 people who voted Obi, or the over 75,000 that voted Atiku, or just random people who didn't even vote. It's without logic to assume anyone you see in Lagos is for Tinubu. Stop shaming your education background and your parents who worked hard for it.
Tinubu didn't win Lagos?

who was contesting Lagos with him that he lost?

what happened that he didnt win Lagos?

under what circumstances did tinubu not win Lagos?

how is it possible for tinubu not to win Lagos?

is it obi or atikus agents that are sharing bread for the people in the video?

if it is tinubus agents sharing bread for these people, is that the "serious thing" God is doing for them?

from the video, that is Lagos Island. are you telling me that Lagos Island is populated by random anti-tinubu people, according to you people who voted for atiku and obi?

I agree his economic policies will benefit the country in the long run. Whether we'll be able to take advantage of the benefits and whether the mass impoverishment currently going on will be a good price to pay are different matters. I personally think he could have managed subsidy removal far better.

Also, he's not done so well on security so far. If he doesn't shape up, that'll make nonsense of anything he achieves on the economy. It's also what he'll be judged by.
Very objective comment. Trained people in this forum should always be objective. It's possible that his advisors read forums like this. If he does well it's for every Nigerian. He might not benefit as much as we would.

All these listed here are the least of Nigeria problems

Insecurity and hunger are the 2 most enemy of mankind and it's nowhere to be found in ur statistics

Meaning this government is a failure

You forgot to mention hunger and poverty, is also growing very heavily.
It is about your perception.Whatever your mind sees and imagines becomes your reality. If you see positive things, development and progress,it is what you will experience and would be your 'portion' as it is alway put in a Nigeria parlance.

Bolded is correct. Being anti-anyone or anything puts you at a disadvantage because it robs you of the ability to look at things objectively. That makes you intellectually blind, even if you don't realise it. Unfortunately, being pro-anyone also has the same effect.

That said, I notice that agriculture is not among the growth sectors. Which makes perfect sense to those of us who're close to the sector. The government is still taking weak and tokenistic measures and pretending agric is fine without addressing any of the real problems of that sector. I hope they wake up.
You're correct about the drag on agriculture. The states are also chiefly responsible for real, fast and sustainable effect. They are closest to the people and own the land administratively. i personally don't like the performance of the agric minister so far by the way. But the FG is not pretending. They've been working hard with Brazil and others especially as regards animal husbandry. The president still took some governors there recently for that purpose and i believe we'll start seeing fruits from next year.
Also in June the FG,
part of the Agricultural Equipments Commissioned by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu under the Renewed Hope Agricultural Mechanization Programme are

2000 tractors
9,072 implements
500 80HP tractor 2 wheel drive
500 80HP tractor 4 wheel drive
500 90HP 2 wheel drive
500 90HP 4 wheel drive
58 Disc Ploughs
330 Disc Harrows
174 Disc Ridgers
294 Tractor Trailers
84 Seed Drills
64 800 L Boom Sprayers
10 Combine Harvesters
2533 Sets of Spare Parts

This is unprecedented and cannot fairly be said to be nothing. i believe you know that the bulk of these equipment will go to state governments.

Mugu, people can no longer afford air travel and result to rail...show us the decline is aviation. He go swallow this useless rail and road growth. Also, the other sectors are where government is killing citizens by placing heavy electricity tarrif, high cost of gas and increased tarrif in communication. Show me one growth in real sector? Nonsense

May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu

According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this administration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.”

On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.

Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President.

Forget politics. God sent Tinubu to safe Nigeria despite all his flaws. If Tinubu can't reform Nigeria to the part of glory no one else can do it. The reason for the present hardship is because surgery is more painful and costly than bandaging.
What a flawed analogy/comparison.

Economy has tanked wailers, they cannot like this type of news. Na growth we go chop?
You don't know the serious thing God has done for you if you're not into politics or anti-Tinubu.
Key Counter-Points (with facts):

1. Fast growth does bo equal big impact
Many of the fastest-growing sectors (like ICT and Finance) only contribute small portions to the overall GDP (e.g., Finance: 3.6%).

2. Big sectors grew slowly
Major sectors like Agriculture (0.07% growth) and Trade (1.8% growth) make up a huge part of GDP, so their weak performance drags the whole economy.

3. Services carried the economy
The Services sector drove growth (4.33%), contributing about 57% of real GDP. Without it, the economy would have performed worse.

4. Some growth is misleading
Large growth in some sectors (e.g., Real Estate or Arts) may reflect rebasing or inflation effects, not real economic expansion.

Although some sectors grew fast in Q1 2025, they are too small to offset weak performance in core sectors like Agriculture and Trade. The economy is still vulnerable, and strong growth in niche sectors doesn’t mean broad economic improvement.

Is it government that will solve your hunger problems ?, get land and farm, till the soil, become a problem solver and kill poverty. Whoever blames government for hunger and poverty is a complete clown.

Yet, the Federal government removed subsidy to reduce borrowing, and now borrows to reduce the effects of subsidy removal.
You don't want to pay tax and you don't want government to borrow, kind ly tell me where money will come from to meet all financial obligations?

Thank u my brother.... You see that power and Agriculture sector.... That's what is holding our development
Bluntemperor:
TRUTHS ON AGRICULTURE AND POWER MINISTRIES IN NIGERIA:
God bless you brothers- for you and others, mentioning Agriculture Neglect:
• President Tinubu Should Sack Power Minister,as well and
•The Agriculture MINISTERs- should be Sacked - for Contributing Nothing - for the Past 2- yrs - for Agriculture IS NOR PRACTICE D IN AN AIR CONDITIONING OFFICES, AND THIS IS WHAT IS HAPPENING IN NIGERIA TODAY- For this same Dept - was once Held By Mr Akinwumi ( the now AFDB CEO)- where Every Farmer - has An ACCOUNT AND REGISTERED WITH LOCAL CO- OPERATIVES - TO KNOW THEIR FARMS AND WHAT THEIR INPUTS ARE!
BUT ALL THESE ARE GONE - BECAUSE OF CORRUPTION.
**2 . PRESIDENT TINUBU - SHOULD COMMAND MR CARDOSO Of CBN- TO GIVE AGRICULTURE A PRIORITY - WHERE ALL AGRICULTURE LOANS ARE GIVEN 2-3% INTEREST RATE P A .
* Abroad Agricultural Farmers are given ZERO % INTEREST - ON LOANS,e.g European Countries, USA,etc.
So why Are We Different - and Banks Charging 27,or15 or 9% On Agriculture Facilities,in Nigeria.
• Because,Govt is Playing POLITICS - WITH LIGHT AND AGRICULTURE - For THESE TWO AREAS ARE KEYS 🗝️ TO OUR DEVELOPMENT.
- God bless you brother - For your Rice Production and let All Families Begin to do more Agriculture For we will have Enough Food.
