Ignorance is loud it's revolting. Malaria is the biggest regulated health business in Nigeria.
The moniker was just telling you the common sense way to avoid the excessive price from importers profiteering from brand name. The only reason malaria drugs are expensive in this age is because of the boundless greed of the Nigerian importer and covert silence from the pharmacy regulators. There's a generic version for almost all common medicines. If you have had to use insurance to get medications in a different country, you would know about this.

Regarding the Malaria tablets, I noticed this earlier this year when I was down with Malaria. I was shocked, I immediately asked for the cheapest brand they had with the same active composition as the expensive brand names. I bought it and was healed in less than a week for 1/4 of the price.
