It is not about Nentawe appointments. Tinubu will not win plateau but will get more votes. North central has always been for Tinubu. Kwara, kogi, Niger. Kwara is Tinubu surest state outside SW. The fact that you question Tinubu popularity in Kwara shows you are limited in political analysis. Atiku can't win any state in NC apart from Niger except he pairs with Obi. With his Niger allies like Muazu, Jerry Gana refusing to defect to ADC and Tinubu rewarding Ibb son, Niger is settled. Al Makura will be settled. Adamu is anti Tinubu, he lost out in nasarawa west to Wadada of sdp. Wadada led sdp and Davemstics led PDP are for Tinubu so nasarawa is settled. Benue will still swing to Tinubu or obi. With Ortom supporting Tinubu, obi will lose steam. The killings has reduced. Obi will still win fct but with reduced margin. You even sound more optimistic than his northern support base. He should be praying that Obi operates a different dynamic from Atiku. In terms of Baba Hakeem Ahmed, he said the same about Buhari during his time. Sule Lamido is yet to denounce Atiku publicly as far as I know. It's still too early to foreclose on a Kwankwaso deal with Atiku. The ball is in Atikus court. But one thing is if Atikus momentum becomes fever pitch, Kwankwaso would have fewer options to align with Atiku.

Tinubu's propensity to betray allies and move on without any remorse has come back to hurt him. Elrufai, Kashim Imam, Ganduje, Kashim Shettima, the list goes on. No serious politician in the North with ambition will ever trust him again. He wanted Kwankwaso badly and even sacrificed Ganduje for the deal to materialise but Kwankwaso said no, despite Tinubu coming to Kano to bend the knee.

A very good friend of mine from plateau south shared the same sentiments with me. That was when I joked with him that Mutfwang was going to detect to APC. He shook his head and said the governor can't make such a costly mistake. He knows me as an APC member, but repeated that plateau will never vote APC again.

He then went ahead to narrate a funny story of how Jerry Usenis daughter went to beg Useni concerning her husband, the retired air vice marshall, who was about to be removed as a serving senator by the courts during his problem with Jang.

He said Useni told the daughter that she doesn't need her husband to be in the senate to feed. Eventually, Useni sacrificed his son-in-laws senate career in the senate because of ego.

I don't know but kwankwaso doesn't fancy Atiku. Even in 2019 when they aligned, Atiku lost Kano scandalously. Kwankwaso wants to be president so backing Atiku is useless when he can just support Tinubu and stand a good chance in 2031. Whatever atiku can offer, tinubu will offer times 3.
In 2023, Tinubu northern support was silence but you saw the results. Atiku has even lost more support while Tinubu gained more up north. Almost all those following Atiku across party lines have always supported him and supported him in 2023 even people like Malami, Amech iand pantami that came from apc so their open support changes nothing...
You are right about Hakeem but Atiku doesn't have buhari clout up north sir. Buhari can do without people like Hakeem but Atiku needs him. Hakeem speaks the mind of many elders. Sule already endorsed obi before so Atiku can't count on him. The Emir of Daura angrily endorsing Tinubu is a big blow on atiku however you look at it.
