I'm even more impressed and much more confident going into the next election. If I previously had 70% confidence, it has jumped up to 95%. This young man ticks all the boxes, even much more being tech savvy, youth appeal, intelligence and experience.
He contested for the highest office in his state and got over 480,000 votes, marginally losing to the incumbent Governor. It has shown how popular and widely accepted he is in his home state. You can't say such of other Chairmen of opposition. Can David Mark deliver Benue?, even as a sitting Senate President, he lost Benue. LP factional Chairman, Nnenadi Usman is a light paper in Kaduna. Iliya Damagun of PDP can't deliver Yobe either.
I am even more confident, lf INEC introduced e-voting, Nantawe would bring his expertise to bear. Opposition attempts at hacking INEC'S server and diverting APC votes will be ultimately disabled.

He served as the ICT director at the Federal University of Agriculture, Makurdi, for over 26 years. He also served as the Plateau coordinator of the Tinubu/Shettima presidential campaign council in 2023.

That is to tell you that he is more strategic in politics than governance. He oversaw elections in imo, Cross River etc, won elections in those places but could not reduce poverty as minister of Humanitarian affairs.

It would amount to sheer shameless denial of the current challenges facing the country that you enumerated.

For the umpteenth time, it's pertinent to take a look at our back and imagine what would have happened by now if Mr President didn't take on the challenges as he hit the ground running by taking the boldest step that others before him couldn't take in order to retool the economy that was already heading to a cliff of bankruptcy.


Hitherto, Nigeria/Nigerians were dressing in borrowed robes - a-kind-of-Fantasyland of self-delusion where we had to keep borrowing in order to pay salaries and carryout sundry projects.


Today, the story has changed for most, if not all state governments, as salaries get paid timely and promptly.


Building takes time!


Tinubu is starting from ground zero in his efforts at restoring Nigeria to its pride of place and even beyond.
