Nigeria will only start winning tournaments when things start becoming better at home. They should wire them 5-0… Tinubu is a disaster

Our problem in this match is the coach, he should substitute himself..

Tinumbu should not have sent a delegation. Is the government this idle?

See the result na.
Delegation was really unnecessary, not that I think it has an effect of the girl's performance. But it was just unnecessary, it's like a waste of funds. Nothing less than 500million would have been spend on this delegation o

Give it to the Moroccan in the first half - they were more tactical , fluid and efficient.

They outfoxed the falcons by a mile.

All hopes not lost. Let’s see what happens in the locker room.

The psychologists have got a lot to do in there.

As for our coach, I don’t seem to have belief in his tactical plan, that is if he has got any.

The girls would have to fight it out on their own .

They're motivated with the laser light been flashed on our players faces

SonofElElyonRet:
This one is over. In fact I expect Morocco to score more goals. They are fired up because they are playing in front of home fans and they are fully motivated. Can you say your own players are motivated? Let's put patriotism aside and be realistic

These laser lights they keep flashing on the faces on our players is so wrong. What kind of nonsense is that. Hope the FIFA president would look into it.
This issue has been on for years. I don't think NFF is pulling their weight in continental matters. Any finals involving North Africans is always full of laser beams directed to their opponent.

The midfield is not there. Plumpter looks clumsy too. They are all sluggish, and the best team is winning already.
Plumpter and the other wing back are clearly the weakest link .

With a good bench, she would not start the second half.
Then, the technical input from the coaching crew is not just there.

At this stage it boils down to team psychology and mental strength. That's the difference between the Moroccans and Nigeria currently.
If falcons don't win wafcon cup at least they've already won social media world cup with all the videos they keep posting instead of focusing their minds on and developing the mental attitude for the task ahead

Nigeria has a lot problems in the country
Also the team is not technical in passing the ball conversion of free kicks corners
Then selecting of our teams is always bad I can’t say it all. We have better players in the country, were is Oshola , this girl… striker from Bayelsa queens. Etc
This is the normal Nigerian version even the male team is worse.
Can’t Nigeria grow up, politics is everything tribal politics, what happens to the under 17, 20 .
Am not surprised by the scores
See our stadium, check other African teams. Even in other sports.

End of first half. Our girls too anxious to score and invariably uncovered their back. If they didn't change their tactics, they will consume more goals. The Moroccan are tactically better.

The final should be replayed in another country not in North Africa

Their bonuses have been paid, what exactly do they want?
They're not playing like they want to win this match with their clumsy plays and unnecessary mistakes.

Ayinde was terrible. Ohale was terrible, Abiodun is just following the ball without doing anything. The only people giving me hope are Plumptre with her accurate passes and Ihezuo with her good movement/positioning.
Re: Nigeria Vs Morocco: 2024 WAFCON Finals (3 - 2) On 26th July 2025 by obaobirin: 9:55pm On Jul 26, 2025
Coach should change the formation

Substitute players especially our No. 9 bring it Oshoala. Bring in fire and zeal it will complement the Captain's supporting striking work.

Another good midfielder should be brought in too.

Our flanks 7 and 11 are not been used. It should be explored since our midfield game don cast. Also tighten the our back.

With this we should come back
