Which is a good thing actually. The problem the super falcons had in the era of the Akide’s and Perpetua’s was that then they had no competition in Africa, and since we do not play many friendlies normally we had nothing to check our lapses and sharpen our skills with.
Hence, we got exposed easily at the World Cup especially since we were always in tough groups with the likes of USA, Sweden and Germany.
Now many teams have raised their game and it’s good for the super falcons because iron sharpeneth iron.

Nice one from the super falcon. Upon seeing 0:2 around 9:30pm I was totally disappointed and thinking can anything good even comes out from this country so I decided to sleep immediately.
