The luxurious lifestyles often portrayed by Big Brother housemates are unattainable for 80% of Nigerians. We're aware that connections have played a significant role in the selection process over the years. However, with Biggie's physical auditions, it's only normal they pick few out of the 80%....
If we can appreciate housemates for their aesthetics, why can't we also appreciate those with a more rugged, 'ghetto' persona? Moreover, who's to say that those with polished accents and eloquent speech aren't the ones pretending to be someone they're not?
For now, I'll be observing the season unfold with an open mind, and hopefully, I won't get too invested in any particular housemate.
