Falana is wrong and it is within the authority of the LG to rename any street. No big deal. |

The fact remains that it is the people who go to other people's land to call it a "No man's land" that caused this kind of decision. You see our chest beating people are doing too much and it is affecting them both home and abroad. The abroad own is even rubbing on innocent Nigerians. If the West of Nigeria hates the East, does it mean Ghana and South Africa hate the East too? Fact remains that a wise man abides with the laws of a place he travels to and respect the people. |

I am not igbo by the way but I do support the truth. This is not about tribe. The Bible says give to caesar what is caesar and to God eh t is God. Even our anthem say labors of our hero's pasts shall not be invain. Charly boy started activism when there was no money and social media fame. He did real work and was crowned for his efforts. He might be loud and provocative but the question is what this man is saying is it the truth. Your pastor can not stand up to the government. Your parents cannot either so here is the man that did stand up and rather to thank him. You are insulting him. Posterity will judge. Bluntemperor: |

LegendHero:Falana and his son, Falz, are your typical “I’m Yoruba but….”. They turn a blind eye when 1b0s abuse and ridicule us, they only find their voice whenever we return the favour |

We are no more running a democratic country, the powers that be have hijacked the country for themselves and it’s just a shame the youths are docile and refuse to do anything to stop it. |

l uote author=Sangoamadioha1 post=136251537] No na village association 😏[/quote]LCDA is local council development Area... LGA is Local government area.. Only LGA is recognize by the constitution... Tinubu formed LCDA for his friends to have political inclusion... That is why OBJ withheld local government funding in Lagos then.... Know the difference... |

Ironfaceman:According to history, the bus stop was under Pedro 1 and 2. So the Charley Boy bus stop was named because Charley Boy hung his bike in front of the rented property he occupied and because of his popularity as at that time. So it wasn't registered as Charley Boy bus stop |
| Re: Falana Condemns Arbitrary Renaming Of Streets, Bus Stops In Lagos by Ironfaceman(op): 9:47pm On Jul 27, 2025 |
Very good keep rewriting history but do you know that the bike hanging was after a hard fought victory to legalise okada as a means of transport. Learn to ask question because I see you're not from. That era. oluspicy: |

Falana really raised very solid points here how can british colonial names be more valued than the names of prominent nigerians? This clearly shows some people who claim to be sophisticated are still living in mental slavery in this 21st century. |

Sangoamadioha1:I know the English go too hard for you. You fit use chatgpt to simplify it. Streets should not be renamed arbitrarily to please the whims and caprices of political leaders or to promote ethnic chauvinism, especially in a cosmopolitan capital city like Lagos,” he said |

Femi Falana, SAN please focus on more consequential issues than these innanities. You claim these obligations are within the purview of local governments and it's the LCDA that have done this. Why the fuss then? I'm tempted to believe it's his son, Falz who's a so-called obidient impressing on his dad, to please his Ibo friends in the industry. You guys( Falz and dad) better fix up and smell the coffee. Times have changed now. |

Bariga LCDA is not recognised as a local government in Nigerian constitution. The so-called LCDAs were created by Tinubu when he was a governor. They are not real local governments recognised by the constitution. Sangoamadioha1: |

Flanagan is jobless that is it. He is not the only lawyer in Nigeria to always going so low talking about everything this was how he mislead Fubara, this was how he covered up for Bobrisky when he was jailed. Sir respect yourself or we will disrespect you. Those names have be changed and we won't reverse it so rest or go to court we will wait for you there. |
