Former SGF Babachir Lawal has just dropped a bombshell — according to him, the entire North has now adopted the ADC as their official coalition platform ahead of the 2027 elections! Yes, you heard that right — the ENTIRE NORTH.

He said what started as just a consultative forum for northern politicians has now turned into full-blown support for the African Democratic Congress. In his words, “Our people have directed us and mandated us to organise ourselves to deliver what we want through the ADC.”

Lawal also confirmed that ADC will go through proper democratic processes, holding congresses and conventions — and whoever emerges, North, South, East or West, will have full backing from both the ADC and this powerful northern consultative group.
