I saw the first two episodes last week and honestly, I don't know if I will watch it to the end. I only started it because of the male lead, liked him since Goblin. Just try the first episode and see if it's your cup of tea.

I'm not sure but I feel like she doesn't "hate him" "hate him" per say, she just sees him as someone who has all the bad luck on earth and is a walking corpse so she treats him as someone that's already dead and doesn't have feelings but yes they haven't told us why she's hell bent on him dying. I honestly don't think the writer has any explanation for us about that part. Maybe the patron god she offered herself to is a demon that likes tormenting people 🤷 cos it doesn't really make sense

No I got that part. The thing is in the beginning it didn't seem like she had plans to kill him and sacrifice him to the deity. He was going to die sure but it didn't seem like that was the purpose of his death. To me it seemed like it was after the good shamans blocked the first altar she built, when they closed the door and bla bla bla that she got angry and said ok I've found a perfect host for you, rise now and come and be my master. Anyway that's how I understood it sha but I might be wrong and you're saying the correct thing

Lmao I've already zero-ed my mind that they'll forgive all of her sins. Immediately the general shaman said she's not going to let go of her the way she's not letting go of her dead baby, I knew they planned to go the prodigal son/assistant Jesus route. Plus since the month of June my pastor has been preaching on grace and how even seemingly " evil" people can function under the grace of God cos some graces are meant for everyone both the just and the unjust, I just decided to pretend I'm not seeing her in this drama cos she is super annoying but they'll come and forgive and forget and as a child of God I'm supposed to be cool with it🤣

Happy birthday to one of my favorite drama moms Kim Jung young ahjumma. Good mother o, bad mother o, she dey act all pieces!

Random post: one of my favorite and probably the first Korean variety show I ever started watching was weekly idol because I mean, an opportunity to watch my favorite idols play about. Hells yes. The main hosts doni and coni were also so hilarious, the program was really fun. Sure they were times they took the humor over the top and it became "mean" but tbh it was never that deep and whenever people expressed dissatisfaction with certain jokes or segments, they actually stopped. I honestly thought I would watch the show forever but then I guess there was a conflict between the hosts and the producers 🤷 and they stopped hosting the show. Till date the producers have never gotten a better group of hosts for the show as far as I'm concerned. It was one bleh group to another until they finally settled on eunhyuk and hwanghee. They weren't as funny as the original hosts but they were so good and brought their own charms to the show and the fact that they are actual idols made it better cos they really understood the idol world and knew how to bring out the best in their guests. Sure doni and coni were great but they are primarily comedians so they prioritized the funny than anything else but eunhyuk and hwanghee in addition to being funny also prioritized the idols mental health. It used to make me so happy watching hwanhee hype every single member of a group by name. The other hosts would mostly focus on the most outgoing member or the member who they can pick on to get the most laughs but hwanghee especially made sure no one felt left out, that does huge things to a person's self esteem and if there's any thing idols need in huge quantity,it's self esteem. A few years later tho they also had to leave the host position then it became eunkwang and mijoo, sure they were fun and tried their best but honestly not enough, now it's monsta x's minhyuk and who sef a member of cravity or Wei I honestly can't even remember and they're trying their best but they just don't cut it. Especially the younger host, it seems like all he's there to do is laugh and react to minhyuk. As far as I'm concerned, the spirit and personality of the show is long gone. When doni and coni were the hosts, I would even watch episodes with groups I don't stan just cos it was that funny but now if it's not a group that I really really really love, you can't catch me near the show. At this point I feel like they should just cancel the show or come up with a totally different format. They've tried, I think it has been on air since 2011 or so (not sure) or they should get better hosts. If they want the hosts to be idols by fire by force, there are a lot of effortlessly funny idols. Just off the top of my head, golcha's Jangjun, sf9's dawon, n flying's jae hyun. Hell even some rookies that debuted last year are hilarious, oh my girl's hyo Jung and seunghee would also do a bang up job. It's just sad that a show I used to really like has now become boring mtcheww

Biko it's first a romcom before anything else so it should have plenty romance. If they didn't want romance they should have made it a horror drama, a psychological thriller or a slice of life drama. If you call something romcom, I want to see plenty romance and comedy in it🤷

Lol what an opinion. So why is there rom in the beginning of a romcom or people that straight up make romance dramas, should they throw their scripts in the dustbin. God created genres and niches for a reason. If you don't like romantic dramas don't watch them but saying romance ruins a drama is just bull especially if the drama was slated as a romantic drama. It's like watching an action movie and saying too much fighting or shooting ruins the movie 🧐

‎Lol someone said law and the city should have been called food and the city cos they spend more time eating than in court. I'm still loving every bit of it. Episode 7 was a bit slow but it's still a well written drama. by the way, did you see the classy love triangle!!! loved it. changwon started catching feelings for huiji, he noticed she likes someone else and that someone else likes her back. what did he do? accepted it like a champ and is doing his best to move on even though it hurts. other mumu dramas will have stupid people fighting for love they will never get from episode 1-14🙄 more of these kinds of writers please. that episode 7 fraud case and how changwon felt about it is the way I feel about efcc and Yahoo boys. Of course, they are criminals and should be arrested but efcc will leave rich politicians and their family members that are screwing people out of billions everyday to be hounding small small yahoo boys. why not crackdown on all criminals. na only to break into broke people house for yaba their di!c(k dey rise. nonsense and ingredients. Also about the view on friendships, while both huiji and juhyeong have great points, I can't agree with juhyeong cos I feel like it depends on the type of friends you have. I don't know, maybe I'm overestimating my friendships but I don't think any of my friends would avoid me cos I happen to know things about them they'd rather keep hidden but I get that it could be uncomfortable sha.

recently stumbled upon a Chinese short drama called Marry Me Again and quite liked it. So I decided to watch another drama that I heard about before but didn't watch then because I felt I just started kdrama and didn't want to be introduced to another non-English one. Tried Hidden Love and absolutely loved it.

I can't compare them to Korean dramas yet but what I can say is that Asian dramas (loved old Indian movies. The most recent I have seen is Baalubali) is much better than American ones. American series and movies have gotten so bad, in my opinion, that they have resorted to recycling old movies and series and still mess them up.

Want to try another one that I heard about and wanted to watch but didn't. Falling Into Your Smile. I hope I enjoy it as much as the others.

recently stumbled upon a Chinese short drama called Marry Me Again and quite liked it. So I decided to watch another drama that I heard about before but didn't watch then because I felt I just started kdrama and didn't want to be introduced to another non-English one. Tried Hidden Love and absolutely loved it.

I can't compare them to Korean dramas yet but what I can say is that Asian dramas (loved old Indian movies. The most recent I have seen is Baalubali) is much better than American ones. You are right about Hidden Love but I think they pulled it off well. He didn't 'like' her until she was in the university and was of age which they made a point of letting the audience know. Also, they made too much mention, in my opinion, about the age difference (6 years) which wasn't bad.

Concerning the Period Drama, I downloaded episode 1 of The Immortal Ascension which is currently airing. Will see how it goes.

Lol I said my own too. Why would I want to beat you 🙄 the fact that you think drama romance doesn't happen in real life doesn't mean it ruins a drama. Na sha fiction Dem call am which means it's a story. If you're not interested in them don't watch, nobody kuku dey force anybody to watch anything but a romantic drama or a romcom must have romance because it is literally in the name 🤷

Got7's jr and Kim yoo Jung have been offered a drama. I hope they accept 🙏

I loved American movies but I had to stop them after I started raising my kids. Unfortunately, korean dramas are following suit now. I finished S line yesterday and I can't believe I saw a nudee scene.

Thanks but I will take your word for it. Her solution to everything is killing. Now she wanted to kill the female lead. Her matter is exhausting. Even the evil spirit that she created is not as evil as she keeps saying that he is. He is just a young boy that wants to love and play. She literally interrupted the female lead when she was appeasing all the hundred souls they the wicked shaman killed to make him evil. Make she day go abeg.

I watched the 1st episode of S Line and I was irritated by the red lines above their heads, especially for those that the lines are so many like the male lead. Not irritated because of what the lines meant but the way it was sticking out of their heads. I just couldn't continue.

The plot alone was enough to turn me off. Never was it close to being in my watchlist. So far I'm observing the nice guy at a distance
