People complain that new phones start lagging too fast. You buy it in March, and by June it’s already acting like it’s 5 years old. But the problem isn’t always with the phone being “cheap.” It’s often because we don’t look at the right things when buying. We chase big numbers, 50MP camera, 8GB RAM, huge battery but forget the things that keep the phone stable long-term. Let me give you an example. There’s this phone I recently read about (just released this year). It’s not even a flagship. But they paid attention to the details. Not just fast charging, 45W that actually gets you to 100% in 90 mins. Not just big battery, 5600mAh that’s optimized with software to stretch longer. Not just “Android 15”, but a clean, modern UI without unnecessary bloat. Then there’s IP68/IP69 rating, drop resistance, and a surprisingly smooth 120Hz display. You can tell someone thought about real users — people who drop their phones, use them outdoors, or just want fewer charging sessions in their day. Even the Helio G81 Ultra chip is smart. It won’t win speed tests, but it’s efficient, cool, and stable which honestly matters more than flashy benchmarks if you’re using your phone for everyday tasks. And no, I haven’t used the phone personally. But I’ve seen the specs, watched the reviews, and honestly, this is the direction more brands need to go in the budget/midrange space. Not every phone needs to scream “flagship killer”. Some just need to last, run well, and make sense. |

Edoreborn:Bro your phone is infected with virus, a factory reset would be just fine but you're scared of losing your contacts or there about If you have a Google account, go to settings and sync it with your contacts and what ever. Any other files that are very important, screenshot and move them to your m-card, remove your sim and m-card before doing the factory reset, you can do it yourself, no allow those flashers chop your money... Afterwards when your phone comes a fresh, put In your Gmail details, resync the phone and most of your informations would return, as long as you know what you're doing... BTW all my numbers are stored in my Gmail, so without my sim all my numbers can be moved from one phone to another as long as I sync my Google accounts. Please search google if you're confused along the line... Gracias... |

Don't let this writer deceive you. The reason your phone is lagging is because the manufacturers keep sending updates to slow down your phone so that you will buy a new one. They release phones multiple times a year, who is going to buy the new one if you use the same phone for 5 years? |

I thought the real reason was too much heavy activities and to many apps causing the phone to slow down, then the RAM and ROM may not be big enough to support these heavy activities |

Darklantern:don't update your phone if it's working well. You can update it if it already has bugs and it malfunctions. Apple were even fined after they admitted that they were slowing older phones down with updates. If that can be done to iPhone now imagine what they are doing to Android |

I think the only reason that can make your device to lag or feel bulky is when you have a lot of activities going-on on your device. Moreover system update can also cause it because most updates comes with bugs which can either decrease the phone speed and even camera quality and all. |

Learning new things from this section, well as for me I try as much as possible to get a device with large storage and manage my files so it doesn't start lagging |
| Re: Phones Don’t Last Long Anymore — But Maybe We’re Ignoring The Real Reason by doointernationa: 9:07pm On Aug 24, 2025 |
But apart from bugs and large files what else caused a device to lag |

Most phones lag due to Ram and the processor used. No matter the design. |

I think it because of resource intensive apps or screen brightness |

The G81 chip used is not really bad. It handless basic daily activities pretty well enough. You just don't have to overload it, especially the RAM |

I think Phones like SPARK 40 Series actually did pretty with their G81 chips. Just don't overload it and it'll run smoothly for years without lagging at all |
