This was the norm in those days. Many did not go to school but studied at home. Many of Todays youth do not k ow what privilege they have that education is state sponsored and compulsory!

I think the fact that education is free explains in part why we are producing so many unintelligent graduates. If you had to struggle for your education, you’d work harder and be more focused.

Tinubu does not have Nigerian classmates because his parents could not afford to send him to school and he had to study on his own.

If anything it is a testament to his determination to pull himself out of poverty. Something to be admired not mocked!

Did he lie in 1999 that he went to GCI, yes. Did he graduate from CSU with as 1st class in accounting yes. Is he your president Yes! Deal with it.

Then he should have come clean about his primary and secondary school background instead of lying.

Such was possible in early times in Nigeria. An elder brother of a friend never attended Primary or Secondary school BUT he is a Graduate of a University.

He did both O-Level GCE and A-level GCE by correspondence

Whenever you see Senator Alasoadura from ondo state in the 7th Senate ask him the school he attended before he became a chartered accountant.

If this is going to be their strategy again instead of reaching out to the real grassroots voters about what they intend to do differently and practical ways they intend to achieve the mean feats, they should be sending congratulatory notes to Tinubu already.

Yes you can prepare for GCE at home. However, in the case of Tinubu, he lied that he attended a Primary that does not exist, and attended secondary school at GCI when nobody ever saw him there
