They They. Who is answering They? Is it Ohanaeze that called it no man's land or the governor's of southeast called it no man's land?

You go write tire.

Next!
You people suffer from lack of comprehension. When the governor called it no man's land the reference was to the fact that it is a free place to come do your business and live peacefully not that the land belongs to strangers. It was your seniors that pass the false interpretation to people like you because you weren't born at the time.

Last time I travelled to my village,I saw many Yorubas in my village and I just laugh.

U see tribalism,it is very bad..a taylor in my hamlet from Ekiti state has a farm land he is farming on,he said he prays to find a woman to marry here.

He personally told me,his parents were against his decision to settle in the east but he never knew they were all wrong.

He was the one who sewed my dad's clothes during my aunty's burial.

In our community market,I met them plenty...but the way we IGBOS shield strangers,it is against our tradition and culture to endanger a sojourner in our land.
That is why u will hear this saying in igbo land as a whole that "Onye ọbịa enweghị onye iro"

We protect strangers, guard them, feed them when necessary and fight our brothers and sisters because of them.

I am not making out words. That is igbos for u any day.
We don't think of anyone dominating us,we believe in division of labour.
But your people are something else EVRYWHERE THEY GO with their CONDESCENDING ATTITUDE. You can see how its creating problem for your tribe everywhere, the latest is Ghana.

Me personal I don't like the Eze outside igbo land.Thank God the igbo traditional council and ohaneze ndi igbo have put an end to it.The calling of lagos no mans land was done by yoruba man Abraham Adesana
This is another person that wasn't born when the statement was made. The statement was first made by Lateef Jakande the former governor of Lagos State not Abraham Adesanya.
The meaning of the statement is that Lagos is welcoming to everybody after all it was Nigeria capital not that the land belongs to strangers.
People change the narratives and then pass it on
Ok tell me why it is only IGBOS that always make reference to that statement are you the only non indigenous tribe in Lagos?

Seeing this makes me wow, I mean the way “some Yorubas speak to Igbos to go back to their lands as if they’re not even having any of their tribal persons in another states, y’all should be ashamed of yourselves for how you spread hates and tribalism all in the name of being afraid that someone is going to take your land, this is also to those igbos who do tribalism too y’all should understand that we are all one Nigeria 🇳🇬, I do like to attend such Amala day in anywhere around Nigeria I want taste that food 😂

Sometimes, one wonders if the the people fanning the fire of tribalism have never transacted anything or worked with or lived with someone from an entirely different ethnic group.

But then, Nigerian politicians and even so-called educated Nigerians have done the above, so one is forced to believe so many people are diabolically tribalistic.

The "no mans land" thing is yabis, nothing serious.

I know this clear, but they only want to pick quarrel where none existed.

This must be a RSVP occasion... Rice Stew Very Plenty...

Imo state... which also is my home state... has a beautiful and planned scenery... ideal for tourism...

The present governor... Governor Hope Uzodinma is also doing some landmark projects like the Control round about bridge... Imo Conference Centre... and other constructions and renovations in multiple locations...

Owerri is also home to a collection of world class hotels... So for your vacation in a serene environment... or businesses who want to have their workshops... or hosting international events... then Imo state is ideal and open...

Nigeria... Good people, Great nation...

This small boys that never left their father's village nawaoo. Very primitive thinking, Yorubas are everywhere even in remote villages in the East, I have them plenty, marrying, working, making money, they have their general town hall at tetlow road near wetheral
grin but when it time to paint a different narrative, you accuse them of not leaving their brown roof of Ogbomosho and travel to your barren region angry

Mind you, I served in owerri and did my camp in Umuna bende Abia state and I can tell you for free that Hausas even have far greater population than Yorubas in the entire SE grin the population of ibo in Lagos alone is far greater than the Yorubas you would find in your entire region.

Not to mention Ibadan and other cities in SW and what this shows, is that SE is less economical viable and Yorubas only do well in a safe and economically viable climes, that’s why they have a large population in the US & UK and locally we have population in kano, kaduna and PH grin they don’t sit at home every Monday in those cities mentioned grin

Is anyone calling Oyo state a no man's land? Or Ondo, Ekiti, Osun or even Ogun. That the traditional rulers in Lagos are Yorubas just like the civilian governors, local government councillors etc is a pointer to the owners of Lagos. How about Ilorin? Who owns it? If the same energy Yorubas use in fighting Igbos about Lagos was channeled towards Ilorin things would have changed there.
