THE SCHOLAR WHO TRANSFORMED THE FALCONS’ MENTALITY His approach is rooted in education and experience. A holder of two master’s degrees (Sports Psychology and Sports Management) and CAF’s elite ‘A’ License, Madugu blends mental conditioning with tactical discipline. This is a reminder to every lazy youth out there who still deceives himself that education is a scam or a Southern Nigerian who looks down on Nigerian scholars of northern Nigeria extraction. You are your own worst enemy o. With the success of Coach Justin Madugu, I believe that you can see that his success is no fluke. You better go and dust your books, quit idle and lazy lifestyle and work hard to achieve phenomenal success in your educational pursuit. If the legendary Coach Justin Madugu from Adamawa, Nigeria's North East that has been plagued with terrorism and destruction of educational institutions by Boko Haram can make it this by sheer determination, hardwork and perseverance, you can do same if you quit your current horrible life choices. |

Forget the title, these FALCONS team didn't play well at all. They failed to inspire us with their style of play. This is not the kind of FALCONS that we're used to. No tactics, no flair, just individual brilliance. Abegi! ![]() |

FreeStuffsNG:Nawa oO. Success indeed has many relatives. This same man that was called many names when our girls were playing "nonsense" . Thank God who had mercy on him and Nigerians by giving them something to lighten their spirits. If the last match had gone the other way, nobody would have remembered that he had two masters degrees. Nigerians indeed are emotional people

Let's give Madugu his flowers, people weren't talking about the coach till they won the cup. The man came from obscurity to win the WAFCON that a foreign coach failed to achieve in the last edition. Big respect to Coach Madugu, he must have done a lot of talking and rejiging his tactics for the team to have come back from a 2 goal deficit at half time and ending it at 3-2. The NFF should give him a contract to continue with the team |

Why do now hire foreign coaches when we have such coaching talents in our midst?!! Let's get the right persons for leadership roles regardless of how popular they are. ...And also give them complete room to work, from player recruitment to team selections. |

The NFF can send him on refresher courses abroad to top European federations or with the tournament win profile find him a leading European female league team to understudy since the leagues will resume shortly. Will be a lot more affordable than hiring a foreigner to lead the team going forward. There are certain areas of the game he needs to brush up. The just concluded Euros shows the huge gap between the African game and the best of the world. |
