 When we say fight and fix your own dominant environment so that you can be part of policy making and will be able to gather your own people to challenge the kind of policy you want scrapped....they say you want Africans to be lazy -local champions with no ambition& exposure ...ok na You can never be respected if your house is dirty,no matter how many houses in the neighborhhood and town you claim you assisted in cleaning their backyards  . This makes a lot of sense...! Citizenship should be properly earned. You can't just obtain a visiting visa, travel when due to birth your child, deliver there and demand that your offspring be automatically given citizenship. 6 Likes |

RodgersAkpafu: I can't say I hate threads like this .But as a person who lives in the rural areas, I preach this even to my own countrymen.... If you are a producer or manufacturerer and you claim you're moving to bigger cities for better infrastructure....why not gather your fellow villagers to put pressure on your local municipality and traditional leaders to change things or if not ...get rid of them. If you fear this in your dominant environment then you're more likely to end up frustrated where you're off to because you'll be dealing with strangers from different places with their biases and all 6 Likes 1 Share |
