why are car dealers too greedy? I saw a c230 I liked, owner wanted to sell it for 4.5; on jiji it was listed as 5.5m, and here on nairaland 7.5m lol. please what is going on here? 8 Likes |

Caption should be 'Why are Nairaland car dealers greedy?' They are ready to take an arm from you for a used vehicle. Just window shop here and look for the real thing elsewhere especially where you have the opportunity to negotiate with the owner directly. I have been saying this for a very long time.... the auto section is left unchecked so many high priced fraudulent scrap with dealers even wanting settlement after selling scrap banana...... I wish suen can do something, if properly regulated the auto section can go toe to toe with jiji and co but greed and fraud don ruin everything! Just view the add and bounce no need engaging them, with time they'll learn... *** used a lady, used by a banker, Japa sales, barely used , never be worked on, only driven in lekki 🤣🤣🤣... Their greed is what drawn me to the autos section. Like is the longer throat for real  .Funny thing I find very annoying is, none of nairaland car dealers knows a single thing about what their seling Bought my cars offshore, did every necessary paperwork myself. But the price in nairaland is delusional, like wtf There are many other companies out there with thousands of that particular brand a greedy nairalander posted here. You guys just reminded me of when I wanted to buy a honda Accord from Auto section, after chatting with the poster via email claims he bought a new car and can't be driving two cars as he also has a company car. Got to where the car was, couldn't find him, said his brother will attend to me, After inspecting the car in and out, I found something wrong with the AC wiring as the climate control had been altered manually by a Rewire, asked him something very glaring on the dash and he responded like someone that has never seen or entered the vehicle before, na there I realize say the werey na middle man wey Don inflate price, Felt bad for the seller right there as we were already at the bank, I just tell the man say I no fit buy the car with one flimsy excuse.
