The money is big ooo like 3 triple of the CAF REWARDS FOR WINNERS.
Hunger full the country, the man has lost it. It's good to reward them but these players are not hungry. Over 180 million Nigerians are currently in abject poverty and penury.

I just saw a video that despite winning the trophy 10 times, this is the first time the falcons are being hosted by a Nigerian president!

Worse still, this is the first time they have had their money paid up front before the tournament ended.

Most times, tournament will end and NFF officials will run away with the women's money and allowances.

They, of course, can't afford to hang around chasing monies as they have to go back to their clubs.

Not this time, monies paid in full, honoured by the Number 1 citizen with a phone call in the dressing room after the match and a audience as soon as they arrived home.

Whilst other women teams all over the world are fighting for parity in recognition alongside the men, President Tinubu is quietly leading the way.

The money is simply too much since ADC came Tinubu has been doing national eye service, if we were to give each athletes 100,000 dollars and technical crew 50,000 dollars better to end sports, when most communities have out of school children and no good drinking water

That one is by private firm. They are doing it for their own financial interests.
But by the FG, that's not the best. How about build more stadiums, invest in sports than make footballers who have already being paid by FIFA 2X richer. Not like up to 1% of Nigerians actually watched the tournament.

This is waste of money.

Excellence must be rewarded. This gesture is a statement to everyone going forward.

Every country is in debt. Roads are being built/ rehabilitated.

Trust in the process. Reforms are never easy and I’m confident Things will surely get better.

Oga it is 2much. Even if my sisters were amongst the ladies that wouldn't stop me from stating the obvious. 160 million plus each is 2much for a country grappling wit poverty like Nigeria. 50 to 70 million each would have been ok. If the economy was good then the money would have been worth it.

Hunger they land. Civil servants are being paid peanuts. Some ministries have not started paying minimum wage to their worker. Doctors self are suffering from poor pay. And una expect make we they celebrate 1000 dollars for one person each.

Which ministry hasn’t started paying the minimum wage ?
