Some people have forgotten that many elites in Yoruba land voted Obi.
I was in University of Ibandan as a contractor throughout the elections. I heard both Professor's and Student discuss the elections. 80% of those people voted Obi. Yoruba or not. I am Yoruba. I Campaigned for Obi and till today. If I would vote, he remains my candidate.
My brothers both in Lagos and in Ibadan voted Obi , several of my neighbours and friends did.

Some comments annoy me greatly.

I disagree vehemently with the Boko Haram man.
The yorubads are more than the igbos in Lagos State.
And tinubu couldn't win Lagos because the yorubads voted massively against him for Peter Obi.
Let there be no controversy; yorubads are more than igbos.
More so, due to threats and other tactics deployed by jingoistic tribalists, Igbos are increasingly leaving the southwest.
And that is good, because those that do not want good things should be left alone with their toys of doom.

Peter Obi got lots of votes from all tribes, including Yorubas in Lagos.

For many, vote Obi for president, and Sanwo-Olu for governor.

Ali is wrong. I am a Lagosian and a typical yoruba man but I voted PO because I believe he has capacity, compassion and character.

Better vote tinubu in your state and leave us alone. Alimosho is the largest yoruba population in Nigeria by local government. Ibos here are less than 5% yet, obi won.

Can anyone show me where Obi made tribal comments?
The way they gas light Obi and his supporters is truly mind bending! PO is the most attacked private individual in Nigeria! He’s not holding any public office and all he did was campaign! He specifically asked people to not support him because of his tribe or religion but based on competence! Why all this?


PO has never attacked anyone or made inflammatory comments! What’s all this ?

I use to make excuses for this type of politicians that they dont know what is happening to the masses to know what is wrong and right, on the contrary this people know and choose not to lead us well , makes no sense when you think about it, that many of us abled bodied youth and sound minded people allowed this type of people to take charge. No patriotism in the heart of such people, they know with no reasonable doubt that once Mr PO enters Aso Rock their illegitimate way of making wealth will seize and they will be accountability.
If Obi doesn’t achieve anything as President of Nigeria let him factory reset the country. It is exciting just to think someone as Obi will rule Nigeria.

I know they don't like us. So other politicians that got votes from other tribes,they see it as normal but any Igbo that gets votes from another state, that is not Igbo in majority, it becomes a miracle to them.
If Tinubu win rivers state, it is not about yoruba in Rivers.
If Atiku wins Osun it is not about Fulani in Osun

As long as the Igbo man is continually ganged up against both by his fellow Igbo man and other tribes Nigeria will not make any meaningful progress as a Nation irrespective of individual progress.

The statement that yorubas are accomodating is a fallacy. I say that because if you go to other states, there are also yorubas there or igbos or hausas there, npbody has asked them to leave which i find very absurd. The only people that have ever asked others to leave are yoruba people, even the north have not asked igbos to leave. It just happens that out of the three major tribes in nigeria, igbos are the most travlled and they do this mainly for economic benefit, that is their nature. So in a state like lagos where there is economic boom, it is jist the case where you see them alot more..period

From my evidence-based research, it turns out Southerners from other States outside South West are collectively referred to as Igbos, I mean those from Rivers, Akwa-Ibom, Cross Rivers etc.
Most Yorubas can't even tell which is which until they reveal their ethnic group.

The failure of leadership in Yorubaland caused the outcome of 2023 presidential elections in Lagos. It was still same failure of leadership that made a certain group attack Lagos under guise of EndSars. The moment Yorubas rose up, they fled back to their holes.

How Yoruba leaders kept quiet and allowed Obi perpetrate his religious bigotry and campaign of calumny in Yorubaland saddens me till tomorrow. Ahh, Yorubas got me heartbroken beyond words.
A large chunk of our people went to the polls and voted blindly for a failure with no achievements whatsoever to his name because of what fake pastors said on their pulpits.
