We need more game reserves like yankari where wild animals can be free to roam. The hippos should be transported to a game reserve.

There are. They're not spread across the delta, so you won't find them in all the states. But if you have friends from Akwa Ibom, you can ask them and they'll tell you first-hand stories about hippos. Hippos in the delta are endangered so there are few of them left.

Not if you can sing their best lullaby.
If a Hippo ever try to attack you, just open your big mouth very wide and sing!
'Hip Hip Hip for the Hippopo!'

As you are singing make sure you are also twining your waist like any of Obiageli in Things Fall Apart, Sidi in Lion and the Jewel or Zainobe in African Night Entertainment, depending on where your sweetheart hails from.

Before you are done with the singing and swaying, Hippo will be smiling at you grin grin grin

The hippopotamus is a significant animal in Adamawa, symbolizing the region's rich natural environment, particularly its waterways and swamps, which are home to these large mammals. The hippopotamus also serves as a powerful emblem of strength, resilience, and the close connection between the people of Adamawa and their environment, that is why there is a large number of Hippopotamus in Adamawa, most especially in Shelleng local government.
