![]() Hell no bruh That has always been the Nigerian thing......In fact, not only in Nigeria......I remember a thread hit this the same Nairaland FP sometimes ago about another country s president gifting their athletes some branded vehicles........ At least,I prefer this good gesture from PBAT to how some of our senators and HOR members lavish our constituencies project monies untop actresses for having soft nyash and water melon sized of boobs as their only contribution to the nation's building ![]() If he didn't gift Dem anything, it'd have been the same you and me who would come online to castigate him ![]() TBH,to rule Nigerians isn't an easy thing at all cuz we're indeed a very funny people to govern ![]() |

Even countries that have won the FIFA World Cup didn't get as much as 150 million per head. I bet Argentina didn't give Messi and his mates that much. Even rich countries don't do that much.. I support the reward but 150 million is extreme. 50 million plus the house would have been perfect. After na just WAFCON. I sha understand that Nigerians have been looking for happiness and even the government is looking for goodwill. |

U won a trophy worth $1,000,000 that is about #1,5000,000,000.(1.5billion) now u have given cash gift worth more than 3billion plus house gift as well. I support the idea but not the amount given...this is akin to a waste. There are able bodied men and women who only needed 5million to start up something but could not get even a dime. Pure waste of Nigerian money. These girls are made already. 150m ×10 is =#1.5billion for just 10 players. Isn't that too much? Mathematically,it is wrong and economically unwise. In the midst of poverty and malnutrition...couple with hunger, homelessness, unpaid wage award promised to workers. Kai. |

EvilMerodack:I have seen a lot of prize money received by French players from FIFA. I have not seen article on Google about how much France as a country gave their players. Of course I know France is a rich country so I deliberately used Argentina in my comment. If you have any link to show us how much the French President rewarded his players, pls post. |

kettykin:The Humongous figures makes it look like a Waste. ![]() 150Million per Player? ![]() 20,40Million would have been ok. The Female National team of England won the EUROS same weekend. I don't think the British Govt will give them such Scandalous amounts of Cash prizes. ![]() |

EvilMerodack:How can you compare BBnaija and the FG ![]() For me, BBnaija is a Company that uses Money Laundering to gift money to their Winners. ![]() Nigerians do NOT watch the show again, yet they have Millions to throw around. This is NOT same with the FG. ![]() |
