Like, all these rants you just spilled made me weak undecided so you believe there are no efiks, ijaws, Hausa, Fulani, urhobo, itsekiri etc peeps who were born, raised and settled in Lagos? cry

I'm short, let me allow you rest from my mentions . . . I don't enjoy reporting with myopic peeps sad
Hmmm we know your kind when you have no counter arguments. Where did I ever mention other people can’t be born in Lagos? Is this why Jamb now accepts 160 as cut off mark nowadays? Just to be clear because heaven knows a lot of you are pumped on emotions and not logic. If you were born, raised and have lived a significant amount of time in Lagos, I believe regardless of where you come from, as long as you are a Nigerian, you are already a stake holder in the state and have full voting rights. Now joining a night bus to Lagos a month before or two before elections ain’t exactly the same thing. I really hope you find a way to translate this to your mother tongue, it might aid your understanding.

P.S. if I were to follow your flawed logic, even I born in Lagos, lived there briefly, pay property and business taxes there isn’t allowed to have a say because I originated from am “O” state as you earlier mentioned. Do you now see the mental gymnastics your people have to play to defend a losing position.

The bolded part of your post above ☝️ is where I say you're wrong and being myopic.

Do you really believe this propaganda from the APC camp that Igbos travel just before elections to Lagos to try and vote? Like they will come to Lagos, register for PVC, go back to the east and wait for everyone 4 years to travel back to Lagos just because they want to vote and then return back to their homes in the South East again? Like . . . You believe this narrative? FOR REAL? shocked

By the way,do you know that the transportation cost for a one way ticket from the South East to Lagos via road is circa N40,000 today? So Igbos will waste over N100,000 per individual just to do this thing these APC propagandists are trumpeting for you and me to swallow? Have you swallowed it? undecided

Please don't tell me I was correct about the myopia situation going on with your psyche cry

Where did I ever mention I believe this report? The phrase “joining a night bus” is a metamorphic phrase for people who have not lived long enough in the state (is education really banned in the East?). For your information, many of us actually supported your brother until your other brothers started generalizing and insulting all Yorubas after his loss. There really is no redemption in sight for some people. Funny tho, how you completely ignore the part where I agreed to voting rights for people with stakes in the game, you people are so far gone that there is no reaching a middle ground with you.

It's safe to say Seun Osewa keeps promoting tribalism and bigotry by enabling these APC e-warriors on this forum.

I think he's correct, They migrated to Lagos even before the war in 1960 to 1965. They thought Nigeria would have worked. Now they are living in Lagos legitimately, their children and grandchildren are all Lagos indigenous people. We cannot do anything against them now because their position is backed by the laws of Nigeria. They have come to stay, FOREVER

Ekene dili Chukwu agemates, Sir Louis Ojukwu agemates and even the regrettable Joe Igbokwe grin
They can never be indigenous to Lagos they are alien, and will continue to be strangers in Lagos. Indigene is by bloodline and not residency. Get that clear for your peace of mind

Oga, rest! If you are tired of one Nigeria, push for its balkanization. Until then, everyone has the right to live and vote in any part of the country. That's what the constitution says.

No ethnic group has pushed for this madness we call a country to end like the Igbos. If you are tired of the contraption too, get your legislators to do the same.
If you are not a hypocrite then tell us with evidence what your own legislators have done about it.

Corroborating the opinions of Ali Modu Sheriff
He never implied they relocated for the purpose of voting. He was stating that Lagos has a very large Igbo population which may not be true unless he has stats to back his claim.

It's all about stopping Igbos from voting in Lagos come 2027 election. Who's Peter Obi and why are they scared of Peter Obi?? angry angry angry

The plan is simple.

Gang up against them, using fear and propaganda to stop a people from voting. If think they'll allow Igbos vote massively in Lagos then you're dreaming. It's now clear that northerners are not the problem.

Such can never be allowed again in Lagos state. Never

It's annoying, disrespectful for some people to be forcing something they can never tolerate in their region on others. So disrespectful
Is this how One Nigeria is going to flourish?
In practice: those who calm to be patriots - are actually the enemies of the State!
You are one of the problems we have in Nigeria, even the blind can feel it.
Remember: bad Leadership doesn't propel National security and development.

The sycophancy of these Sad Wasteners stink.
Where ever they find themselves, they'll display sectionalism.
The slowpoke cannot talk about the calculated disenfranchisement and brutalization of people during the election in HIS LAGOS.
He's not talking about how to improve elections and voting in HIS LAGOS.

His worry is the migration by a particular region to HIS LAGOS.
He can as well say that Mbanefo, Ojukwu and others came to HIS LAGOS decades ago to vote.
They're always afraid to discuss or confront Northerners.
The comment credited to Kwankwanso last week, accusing Tinubu of spending our resources in the South, you see how they politely and soberly responded to it.
What a community!

only a person living outside their ethnic region will say there is tribalism in Nigeria..

There is no tribalism in Nigeria..

Each tribe in Nigeria has its tribal location and region and some tribes have bigger regions than others.

most Nigerians especially southern Nigerians shout "tribalism" because they are not living in their ethnic region and want to manipulate the system of the region they are living in to favour them.
Imagine a white man making this statement towards another race .... he will be permanently banned on SM qndd cancelled.... do u understand that this country is one ?? When It comes to paying of tax , do they exempt other tribes ?? Do they give free lands in lagos , abi do the government pay other tribes special money.... the oil money that was used to develop lagos and other regions...I guess the Niger deltas should hold on to their oil... other tribes should not have access to its proceeds ...lagos and SW don't have oil... they should not have access to it...its not their land ... imagine if the Niger deltas start acting like the yorubas... this simply shows tribalism is a part of the yorubas ...u guys breed so much hate , bitterness, envy for others... kemi is the head of the conversation or labour party in the UK... she is yoruba ... Will the yorubas allow that happen here ?? Lagos is different from other SW states cos its a metropolitan city .. so its mixed up with different tribes ... lagos is blessed because of other tribes efforts to develop it .... imagine if 90% of all other tribes decides to leave lagos and go with their businesses....Lagos will not be better than osun state .... 90 % of the biggest businesses in lagos are owned by other tribes ....imagine if they all move away to their states... do u think lagos will still be the same?? If it happens , those billion naira houses in ikoyi and its environs will crash by 80% ... all those oba oniru and elegushi will be like cupicle obas... na baale dem go de call them ....the hate for igbos have really made u guys really dumb... what bitterness and hate brings

Bro, it's not only in Nigeria, in every local election anywhere in the world, there is a measure to cross check the influence of non indigenes.

That is applicable anywhere including their region. Something they can never tolerate in their region but want to let it slide in other places
It is applicable everywhere in the world, yet your brothers are allowed to stand for and even win election in the UK, US and Canada. Such myopia

Hmmmm I guess I have to break down what a metaphor is to you. Since the brain doesn’t operate like the stomach and doesn’t alert you when it’s empty. That statement is a metaphor for people who haven’t lived long in the state ( please go back to your high school and ask for an immediate refund of any fees you paid). It’s either you see you have clearly lost the plot here and trying to keep highlighting the same thing I have already explained to you as one does to a toddler or you are just outright a disingenuous character. Follow my thread of discussion and see I never confirm these claims because unlike you some of us actually use critical thinking, if igbos are traveling to Lagos for this purpose, how do they explain the Yorubas that voted for him in Osun? Or even the surprising performance he had all through the south west? This is red meat for you and your ilk to attack and generalize Yorubas as APC supporters and then wonder why there is animosity towards you.

P.S… joining a bus at night to travel to Lagos is not even a thing specific to igbos alone. So even if you take it literally instead of the metaphor it is, it will still not make sense in this context. But hey, you are the clever one.

Most Nigerians are jobless, in Lagos alone most Young Men and women are unemployed and depend on palliative and begging for a living.
Some jobless folks started the Igbo must go in the Same country, but the Same people want to relocate to the UK for a better life
