We have a simple contract in line with Nigerian labor law, you must give 1 week notice prior to resignation. He signs a document upon employment agreeing to this term. In addition, we remind staff of this during employment. Please ask your brother if he gave notice, which must be in written form. If he did give notice, then we could look into the matter. If he did not, then I am sorry he did not follow the agreement that he signed. Otherwise, everyone gets paid here; we have never owed salary for even a week in our entire existence. Many of our staff have received over 1 million naira in addition to salary from the farming activities that we subsidize, fund and assist for them. Good luck in your continued pursuit of finding a job. |
