Upon resumption, Mr Bayo Ojulari promised the resumption of oil drilling in the North, true to his words, he did. Kolmani Oil Licence was granted a few weeks ago and boundary issues between the two states have been ironed out by all major stakeholders. Say Jagaban! “President Bola Tinubu, who was then the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), was not invited to the ceremony by the NNPCL management or the federal government.Tinubu went through a lot in the hands of the cabals, if your party's Presidential candidate was treated this way and refused to be invited to a major event that was supposed to highlight the fortune of the party. Tinubu not only did he fought battles but also wars and won. -Kiss the truth! |

How come only NNPC is drilling in the north? Why are IOCs uninterested? If NNPC is a serious organization, they'd invest funds in maximizing and producing current fallow assets instead of looking for new ones. With all the funds this same NNPC pumped into the drilling project in the north, is this not a system to siphon funds by the ever corrupt NNPC gang? |

Another lamba ,if North have a quality oil in large quantities, they'll be the first to want to separate from the rest of the country...so they're using this propaganda to continue to milk the oil money from the south ...this is pure grandstanding |

These people are not tired of wasting our scarce resources. It is not economically viable to drill for oll in the north when it is practically on the surface in the Niger Delta. |

Nigeria is a blessed country, Kolmani oil lincense wouldn't have been granted and oil & gas institute wouldn't have been established in Bauchi if there wasn't oil & gas discovery in commercial quantities. |

This sounds funny. Yes they went, drilled and activated but no trace of hydrocarbon on surface. The government need to say the truth and stop giving false hope to it's citizens. Channels this billions into helping the community. |

Most people who didn't ace mathematics will assume the figures quoted for gas and oil deposits are a lot. For gas, it is 500bn cubic feet. As a country, we use 664.6bn cubits per year. At that rate, this deposit will take us less than a year before it dries up. For oil, it is 1 billion barrels. As a country, we currently produce and use 1.5m barrels/day through 365 days a year. At that rate, this deposit will take us 1.8 years before it dries up. Accepted that Nigeria has other stations but this particular station is not all that lucrative. But like a friend would say "At all at all na hin bad". |

TimeManager:500 billion cubic feet of gas find in the Kolmani fields is huge and that can be used to trigger the economy of the Northern States in addition to the gas pipeline being constructed to move gas from Southern fields to the Northern States. |

AlphaTaikun:500bcf of raw gas is just 5 days of production for the US. It's inconsequential (at <1%) in the 211tcf of proven reserves in the SS/SE 500bcf of raw gas may be impactful for a state, but will not even fill the trans Sahara gas pipeline let alone be commercially viable for export |

This is a waste of scarce resources. Buhari drilled and drilled for years and not one drop of oil was found. I don't know why the "jagaban" bowed to rhe pressure from the north to continue drilling. Maybe baba is already feeling jittery about 2027. |
