I support FULL takover of Lagos State by Yorubas who are the rightful owners of the entire South West region.
It's the carelessness of our people that made a certain group even conceive the thought of attacking Lagos under guise of EndSars.. no part of the North was torched by the n.ever-do-wells, not even Abuja that has diverse population. Only Lagos got razed down in the sense.less attacks, shows Yotubas were doing something terribly wrong at that time.

Yes… good one welcome development… anything to reclaim back our heritage is okay… after renaming all street… we move to the state level, civil service… all strange names should be replaced by our people and companies in Lagos must have a quota for Yoruba slot in all employment going forward…. Afterall, they have told us they don’t believe in Nigeria and wants to have Biafra.. so let go to their states and form their Biafra…infact, Lagos is too congested… let them leave

Well, change is a constant thing in life but it must be equitable if induced. This tribal sentiments for changing name will only cause ethnic clash and division in the state. This is not good for Lagos state. You are changing name without even thinking of the the actions and consequences. What are the metrics for pickin names. Are they even Lagosians? Even the real and true Lagosians are not the real beneficiaries. If you change name, atleast, change it to a Lagosian name, not someone who is from Abeokuta, osun, ekiti and all other States from the west. It only reflect tribalism...

It's really sad how politics in Nigeria has degenerated in Nigeria under APC leadership. Lies upon lies, division upon after division... Nigeria is sinking with all these divisive politics and hate.

Igbos
You are just paranoic. Relax. Why are you people panicking for what is in essence impracticable.
Does Igbos have boundary or any relation with you? No, does Igbos have any antecedent of claiming and owning any land elsewhere apart from the one individuals rightly bought legally? No. You people just have sheer hatred for them nothing is attached. You are just using all these no man's land of a thing to further perpetuate your evils. Even in Nigeria we only know fulanis as the on people capable of doing that yet they couldn't do it easily.
Tell me anyway in the world that the Igbos taken people's land? I mean the Igbos are regarded as the widely travelled but have not in anyway taken any land elsewhere

We know the story behind the recent Ghana stuff, they want to buy land legally and rightfully to build as in any other place. How does that translate to claiming land. And they have since quenched the plans. Those behind it are paranoic for no reason just like you who is using the opportunity to further perpetuate your hate and latent evil agenda against them

Who is claiming Lagos is no man's land? Being paranoid because of inferiority complex.
People use no man's land to express how so many ethnicities and many other countries are all mixed up in Lagos in the olden days sef. How does that translate to ownership? You people are just feeling inferior for no just cause
grin inferior to people who traveled kilometres from across the Niger to seek greener pastures in yorubaland? What exactly do you have that you feel they are envious or jealous of?

NwOsu, you better don’t delude yourself, we control the economy of this country which is why Lagos and yorubaland is the economic capital eg banks, insurance, manufacturing, real estate, education, health, media, entertainment etc so tell us where exactly you dominate except your 2*2 shop and okrika business 😂😂😂

You can’t even measure up to Ibadan in term of development and economic viability and hear you capping about Yorubas being inferior to people we are far ahead off. Even the trend of migration from east to west have proven that, and that’s your you crying over Lagos yorubaland grin btw proudly Lagos

Lagos is Portuguese word.

Change am first.

Change am first.
Lolz. The pain is making people start sounding funny. LGAs don't have power to change the name of a state. Even if they have, you don't choose for them what name they'll change. If you're affected by any of the names changed, contact Anambla or Abia to create streets for those names removed in Lagos.

It's going to generate into a much bigger crises. The problem with our people is their lack of foresight and always being so optimistic. Mind you, these are the educated ones o, including those who studied and live(d) abroad. Then imagine those who don't have such exposure?

This ethnic bigotry towards Igbos has been rearing its head since 2011 with an increment in 2015 and final episode in 2023. It's going to be worse in 2027.

Well, you see why I would never deride the likes of Farage or Trump? The White man is better off and way superior.

I used to even think Igbo women who are wives to prominent Yoruba men would wade in, but well, everyone's offspring will learn a thing or two.
This is because of the fact that they are jittery and scared of losing power in lagos

Obi winning Tinubu in Lagos really rattled them

APC minions mostly are lazy folks tapping from the state purse
The prospect of being kicked out is scaring then so much they are resorting to this rubbish
