The beauty of market competition... Let this continue and more wins for the masses. A competitive market allows everyone to play and it breaks the hold of cabal. I pray this also happens in the power sector. |

Hope this marketers have stamina, because it won't make sense having small margin , if a little spike happens you just fall over ... Alhaji should maintain a reasonable price, an ant can go to sleep without affecting the grass but an elephant would make a big dent on the grass if it goes to sleep. |

This is what they call open market competition. Please let it continue, don't stop there! The more the confusion, the better for the masses. Oya Dangote, hit them back by reducing it to 700 per liter. Please don't forget gas prices as well. Thank you all |

Dangote nothing good can ever come from him, people where saying if dangote finished his refinery fuel will be cheaper I laughed It is easier for importer to sell cheaper than dangote refinery to sell cheaper Very frugal and mean business man |
| Re: Marketers Drop Petrol Prices Below Dangote’s Cost by INTEGRITYA1(m): 7:37am On Jul 30, 2025 |
That’s very good, all these small small reductions in price are still rehearsal because real drooping is when price get to 500 per little or even below. Healthy competition is good for Economic growth and for the consumer well being. |

I applaud Dangote for building a working refinery in Nigeria. However, Dangote made a big mistake by building a 650,000 to 700,000 bpd refinery. Dangote should have built a maximum 300,000 bpd refinery. Dangote should have known many influential people in Nigeria would resist his refinery having monopoly power in downstream oil sector in Nigeria. Oil trade is a global trade. Many influential Nigerians and foreigners make lots of money (legal and illegal money) from oil trade in Nigeria. Dangote should have anticipated that achieving monopoly of downstream petroleum sector by his company in Nigeria would be extremely difficult. There are lots of corrupt people in the oil industry, especially in a country like Nigeria. |

It these importers can reduce the price of fuel why was it that they had to wait for dangote to first reduce price before they reduce their own price? |
| Re: Marketers Drop Petrol Prices Below Dangote’s Cost by donmixc: 7:41am On Jul 30, 2025 |
Tinupoo ban fuel importation even though I don’t support you. Dangote is our brother, I must support him irrespective of southern opinion 😎 |

Nigerians are played like ping pong by primitive capitalists in the petroleum sector despite billions of dollars expended on refineries in the niger delta none are working, non regional players are pursuing corruption excellence, promoting regional fragmented political system to their benefits. |
