A tragic incident occurred in Aba, Abia State, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, when an unidentified woman passed away inside a Keke Napep (tricycle) while traveling toward Railway Junction, NC BLOG Reports.

The incident took place near Umungasi, close to Tonimas Filling Station and before Abia Polytechnic, just short of Ezeukwu Road.

According to Eyewitness Reports, the woman was en route to Railway Junction when she suddenly died in the moving tricycle. Her identity remains unknown, and no immediate details about the cause of death have been confirmed by authorities.

Local residents and passersby are urged to visit the scene at Umungasi, near Tonimas Filling Station, to assist in identifying the woman and notifying her family. The Abia State Police Command has been notified, and an investigation is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

In a further attempt to identify the woman, bystanders searched her belongings and found a mobile phone with a dead battery. To trace her identity, good-spirited individuals removed her SIM card and inserted it into another phone. Her phone number was identified as +2348066127524.

Authorities are calling for anyone with information about the woman to come forward promptly.

Na once I drag her come down and zoomed off........Since then ,once I stop for any passenger,I always access you from head to toe to know whether you're upright before I will allow you to enter my keke . Cuz I don't want to encounter a similar scenario

Where are those people who always say it's not good to post dead people's picture, that the family will feel one kind. How are they going to identify this woman now if her picture wasn't taken. And if the family finally identify her will it stop the picture not being in the internet again.

Autopsy, the family and NPF should conduct autopsy. At the processes of autopsy the Keke man won't be detained he will go about his normal business and report to station when called up.

This is scary menh ,she step out of her house with intention to go somewhere now she's gone....just this morning my neighbour told me of her customer that was preparing to travel to London to be with her first son family..but this morning she slump and die on her way to morning mass.... once u are above 40years endeavour to check your BP and blood sugar regularly.....and try to live right in anticipation that anything can happen
