I bought a mobile phone on AliExpress on the 28 of May, and it has been stuck in customs clearance since 13 June, overall the device is in transit for 56 days. I have contacted NIPOST and they say the parcel is not in Nigeria, and when I contacted the Nigerian customs they referred me back to the local courier, I don't know what is happening, is there any help I could get.

If your order is stuck in customs and post office says it's not with them, are you not supposed to wait for delivery date to pass and then open dispute?

It's important to always communicate with sellers before buying an item.

Sometimes Item description may not be valid, always make sure you speak with them. To hold as evidence when you finally receive it. It'll make AliExpress judgement easier.

Why tell me that which I can clearly see and know, with regards to dispute, have I asked you how to open one, I only posted this here because I am very sure someone somewhere might have gone through the same ordeal, and if there is anything he might have done to help, but you decided that as if I'm blind, needing help with what the tracking information said, just kept on reading, if you have nothing meaningful to say why not just read it and skip.

Yes, if you noticed such unusual occurrence quickly contact AliExpress immediately & drop a complain, if no,t your package will be otilor.

Sometimes your location could be difficult to reach especially if it's unfamiliar. Instead of stressing themselves they'll rather do it there own way.
