OMG. This is one of the reasons for such a mass migration to other people's lands. The stats are indeed worrisome, if they are accurate. It begs the question: why would so many Igbos feel the need to leave their homeland and settle in other regions? While there's certainly freedom of movement, the concerns are deeper. Are their own regions becoming so inhospitable that they have no choice but to leave? Is the ongoing issue with IPOB-related violence still plaguing the Southeast, making it unsafe or unstable for its people? Is there a climate of hostility or distrust when it comes to doing business among Igbos themselves? These are just a few of the troubling questions that arise. The reasons for such a mass migration go beyond mere economic opportunity. Something seems off when people are choosing to leave their ancestral lands in such large numbers. May his soul rest in peace. |

A friend of mine was kidnapped as well in the east. Thank God he could afford to pay ransom. At least there is life. The govt needs to stop campaigning for 2027 and start taking care of their responsibilities. They were at maraba bridge campaigning with some expired actors like Zack orji |

Noerection:We have gotten to the peak height of man-stealing in Nigeria... Victims are wickedly kidnapped for either ransom, rituals, or terrorism... Anyone who get involved in kidnapping victims... should know that death penalty await them... This is where I stand... when I become the next President of Nigeria... |

Those are not kidnappers but IPOB members. Back in 2009 when we were complaining about Boko Haram, some people were backing them and encouraging their attacks on law abiding citizens and Christians. As time went on, the north felt the grip on everybody over there. Now the IPOB and ESN boys too were being encouraged. We warned against them but south East didn't listen |

Very hardworking guy. Always advertising online with the cheapest prices. His "assassination" should be thoroughly investigated. He was starting to dominate a reasonable share of the fish market in this country. I wouldn't be surprised if folks who felt he was running them out of the market are involved in this dastardlyact.. The police should spread their dragnet across the country, especially towards the South West. Folks over there see job/business/political competitions as a matter of life.and death.. |

owobokiri:What concerns SW with other people’s success? That’s East and what they do to their own people. He lost his life in the SW? The East is hot with kidnapping and killing of even prominent people on the street like they are less than human. Is SW people that did that one too? What about Dora Akunyili’s husband? Una don sell una shame or God forget to give una. |

2mch:Your people are the ones sponsoring hooligans and violent urchins in the south-east,. You tactfully recruit them to go around killing, maiming, destroying things for fun just to blame IPOB and ESN. The ultimate aim is to discredit the Biafran agitations in the east, by tying the movement to lawlessness and brigandage. You guys supervised the jailbreaks these recent years in the east that have emptied the prisons of all their human quantities. All those criminals are the ones kidnapping and committing murder just to tarnish the image of a region. |

owobokiri:Hahahaha. Na now I am convinced that you are something is wrong only Yaba left can cure. You mean the brutal murder of a prominent son of Igboland on the street of Alaigbo was done by Yorubas? Even the kidnapping that is 99% Igbo to Igbo is sponsored by Yoruba. Who are not more than 3,000 in the whole SE? Incredible. Yet we leave Easterners who are in their millions in SW to thrive. We go all the way to SE to kidnap and kpai Easterners. When there are enough in the SW if we want? Only una do Kidnapping, baby factory and other ills of God as business. Yet wonder why your evil forest of a region can not thrive? Instead of taking accountability, you blame Yoruba who are far away and don’t even share border with SE? |

SymphonyRad:Amotekun has engaged those kidnappers and are hot on their trail. But in SE it’s Igbo on Igbo crime and this young life was cut short for dried fish!. We know those behind the kidnapping in SW is 90% not SWners. |

2mch:If Amotekun were hot on their trails as you claim, the kidnappers wouldn't be that bold and confident enough to demand such ridiculous amount for ransom, your brother is the president with all the key security positions manned by Yorubas yet there are herdsmen and bandit attacks still happening in the SW, especially in that Akure North axis. |
