mobisonkk2:So it's no longer bible, it's dictionary now? Well, the question remains the same... How can you create a dictionary of a language that you can not understand? |

Mabuggi88:the reality at hand is the numbers I just showed you 😂😂😂 numbers don’t lie nwokem. I’m not even using Lagos as a standard to compare our economic prowess grin oyo state is just the size of your 5 barren region and yet you can’t measure in development and economic viability, that’s why you have to desert your region ![]() Aside from Lagos, go to Ibadan and see the number of your migrant blodas, some hawking in traffic like we have in Lagos, so how can we be inferior to people who left their home to seek Better life in my region?? Why not return back home, make we check something 😂😂😂

erniok:All I was trying to say is, Benin was ruled by Oranmiyan of Osun in 13th century, which created linked between Edo and Yoruba that made them discovered Eko. So tell me more. |

latiephwald:Just found this to be true about the rulership. On the other hand, eko was discovered based on the expansionism quest of the benin kingdom. |

latiephwald:And you think Lagos is keen on revoking CofO after the 100 yes expiration than renewing it? If so, why are they still issungbfresh CofOs to non indigenes. |

Tochitee:Yes, I am Chinedu and yes, I am a Nigerian and the last time I checked, the constitution guarantees me freedom of movement and association. I can live anywhere and everywhere I can put my presence and if I contribute to the state and perform my civic duties, I have every rights like any other citizen. I respect the indigenous people, however, I need to be accorded the same. So if a street is named in my name, why this tribalism... This action of government trying to rewrite history and erode people's legacies is wrong. It's divisive. When this gains traction, it won't be funny... APC is not a progressive party but a divisive one. |

RodgersAkpafu:Lol... The elites so far have covertly or overtly supported the moves since 2023 and you describe them as lazy? Aside from Falana, have you read any elite come to condemn the policies so far? When Igbos including non-Igbos who seemingly look like Igbos were flogged, some canes were laced with Juju, how many Yoruba elites condemned it? Those are the indolent folks? Lol |
| Re: Eti-Osa LGA Changes Some Street Names In Lagos by RodgersAkpafu: 11:53am On Jul 30, 2025 |
Gerrard59:The APC elite is the people I am referring to They are the lazy ones who are connected to the lagos purse And to answer your question,, quite a number of elite people have been condemning the Yoruba Ronu But those ones are financially independent Most of the APC Lagos elite CANNOT BOAST of survival without baba sope We know |

jmoore:you know nothing. As Edo man, we do called Lagos Eko as far back in 80s and it's pure yoruba word. You can't leave your east and tell the west how to handle things. Igbos are not the only tribe in Lagos and because you all like to poknose for what is not your consigns, is what you people are suffering from today. |

madridguy:I love what is happening and hope it get to the point where igbos will have sense by force. Go to ago palace, heavy structures for hotels and residence 98% igbos. One I know is for sure if the igbos decide to be wise and develeop the east. The regrets will be on the west cos tee economy in the west especially Lagos will seriously be affected and by the, the igbos would have started understanding the importance of developing their region and there will be no going back by then. Rents and other things that traffic help go high will drop.many things will change if that can happen |

owobokiri:Actually we don’t want to change names if they’re English, only the typical Igbo names are the targeted ones! There are many other Igbos with English names that haven’t been changed. |

I never see Yorubas wey they buy in bulk from South East, so tell me more ooh how the thing will affect Southwest. Concerning the House Rent .... in Lagos today Naa the igbo people make it high if it left for Yoruba people House rent for 3bedroom will not be more than 500k in Lagos ... because a common Igbo man will want to show off, that I can afford everything attitude |
