Those generals were assassinated before the war started through MOSAD agents inside Iran. Why has isreal not stop the war in Gaza? They stopped hostility after discovering their air defence system was rapidly depleting. The US lost over 2bndollars in the 12 days war due to the volume of THAAD consumed . The US has acquired 650 THAAD missiles since 2010 but expended 150 in just 12 days to stop Iranian missiles . If the war had prolonged more than that , isreal would have been history as most of all it's anti aircraft defense system were already used while America was already panicking about the rapid depletion of their defence system. You saw what happened immediately after the war? The US stopped defense aid to Ukraine due to what they lost in the war of isreal . Don't underate any country.

Iran only accepted the ceasefire because of fear of nuclear attack. If the isreali defence system had depleted more than that that more and more of Iranian missiles and drones started hitting cites, isreal would have faced existential threats which would have prompted them to use nukes.
