This is one of the reasons for such a mass migration to other people's lands.

The stats are indeed worrisome, if they are accurate. It begs the question: why would so many Igbos feel the need to leave their homeland and settle in other regions? While there's certainly freedom of movement, the concerns are deeper.

Are their own regions becoming so inhospitable that they have no choice but to leave?

Is the ongoing issue with IPOB-related violence still plaguing the Southeast, making it unsafe or unstable for its people?

Is there a climate of hostility or distrust when it comes to doing business among Igbos themselves?

These are just a few of the troubling questions that arise.

The reasons for such a mass migration go beyond mere economic opportunity.

Something seems off when people are choosing to leave their ancestral lands in such large numbers.

May his soul rest in peace.

That's a big lie. I lived in Anambra, Aguleri to be precise for over a year like 15 years ago, and I have gone back a few times. It wasn't safe then, it is not safe now. Anambra that you dare not go out after 8pm.

His "assassination" should be thoroughly investigated.
He was starting to dominate a reasonable share of the fish market in this country. I wouldn't be surprised if folks who felt he was running them out of the market are involved in this dastardlyact..
The police should spread their dragnet across the country, especially towards the South West. Folks over there see job/business/political competitions as a matter of life.and death..

Your people are the ones sponsoring hooligans and violent urchins in the south-east,. You tactfully recruit them to go around killing, maiming, destroying things for fun just to blame IPOB and ESN. The ultimate aim is to discredit the Biafran agitations in the east, by tying the movement to lawlessness and brigandage. You guys supervised the jailbreaks these recent years in the east that have emptied the prisons of all their human quantities. All those criminals are the ones kidnapping and committing murder just to tarnish the image of a region.
How easy it is for outsiders to enter your house and steal money?

Bigotry is a deadly disease. Yoruba land is of no concern to any Igbo man. We mind our business but can't tolerate your excesses even in Yoruba land until the Constitution make it an offence for one to live outside his land of origin. Until then take a chill pill.
